Classic Japanese green tea with a juicy-sweet flavor, rich mouthful and long-lasting fresh aroma.
Green Teas are enjoyed worldwide for their invigorating, fresh character preserved through various crafting styles and firing methods.
Tea Origin: Japan
Region - Kirishima, Kagoshima
Elevation - 300-450m
Cultivar - Asatsuyu, Yabukita, Okumidori, Okuyutaka

Crafting Style - Sencha is the traditional steamed green tea of Japan. Steaming preserves tea's fresh character and vivid green color by quickly halting natural tea oxidation. Sencha is finished with a light roast to develop a light pine aroma. Sencha's bright green infusion has a refreshing energy with a balance of juicy-sweet flavor, deep umami and a crisp, refreshing finish.

Organic green tea.
iHerb Customer Reviews
I buy this because it is organic and from Japan. After many years of drinking Longjing Tea and Dragon Well Tea from the mountains of Zhejiang Province in China, I became concerned about the rising levels of pollution in the area. Although this Rishi tea will never have the unique and delicate flavor of Longjing, it is still perfect in its own way. Very clean, very crisp, very nice.
You could give this one six stars in my book. It is so delicious. A Japanese green tea it is very green . Love it. I think the different green teas are a matter of preference for your body. And my body certainly likes this one.
