The title says it all. The title says it all.

I agree with other reviews that these are very lightly salted but I still found them totally delicious and morish, had to stop myself from eating the whole pack. I will defiantly repurchase and recommend....if you would like them to be saltier, add extra salt!
Enjoyable but lacking

I really like edamame and was expecting more flavor, but it wasn't really there. Not much salt too. I did eat the whole bag by myself... but not without a drink as they are very drying.
The jury's still out on this one...

...but I'm still gonna give it only two stars. And I'll tell you why: Not AT ALL what I was expecting. Maybe this is my fault, but when I think of edamame, I think of steamed, salty deliciousness. But what this was, was dry and tasteless. Which, to put it mildly, was disappointing. It was not just dry, but SUPER dry. Yeah, dry roasted, but I didn't picture the dry roasting to dry out the soybeans themselves so much. Like, if I ate a few of them at once (say just four or so), then my mouth would get really dry and I would need to take a sip of water to get it all down. This wasn't so much a problem if I ate them a single piece at a time, but it still made the experience less than pleasant. Also, I know that it said that they were "lightly" salted, but they really meant it. They are pretty much not salted at all. Which makes them healthier, sure, but also in my personal opinion makes them a lot less tasty. Every time I got one that was relatively salty (with ANY salt on it really), I would try to eat a couple more at the same time to add flavor to the experience. This, coupled with the dryness, made them really difficult to eat. But, they were oddly addictive. I bought four bags (stupidly, in retrospect), and after the first bite of them I whole-heartedly expected to want to throw the rest out--it was THAT shocking. But I ended up eating all four bags and snacking on them regularly at work. And hey, they are healthy, so anyone looking for a healthy snack could totally go for these...they just REALLY need to know what to expect. TL:DR, relatively flavorless and EXTREMELY dry, but a really healthy snack (if you're into that kind of thing) and not so bad that I would never eat them again. That all said, I probably will not be re-ordering.
