The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.
The Shipping Weight includes the product, protective packaging material and the actual shipping box. In addition, the Shipping Weight may be adjusted for the Dimensional Weight (e.g. length, width & height) of a package. It is important to note that certain types of products (e.g. glass containers, liquids, fragile, refrigerated or ice packed) will often require protective packaging material. As such, these products will reflect a higher Shipping Weight compared to the unprotected product.

iHerb Customer Reviews
As soon as I applied it on my face I noticed a strong rubbing alcohol smell to it. I looked at the ingredients and noticed it is the 2nd ingredient in the serum! Isopropyl alcohol is horrible for the skin, and even worse for your health. You can do your own research at how this ingredients affects you. It is also a very cheap "filler" ingredient in a serum that could have been replaced with something more beneficial and less toxic. In addition, the consistency of this serum is like a tacky serum that does not absorb and stays onto the skin, with a very sticky feeling to it.
This serum have all that you need to have a best skin, but have at first place Isopropyl Alcohol: "...When alcohols have low molecular weights they can be drying and irritating. The alcohols to be concerned about in skin-care products are ethanol, denatured alcohol, ethyl alcohol, methanol, isopropyl alcohol, SD alcohol and benzyl alcohol (when it’s among the main ingredients; tiny amounts aren't a problem). These types of alcohol can be extremely drying and irritating to skin, as well as capable of generating free radical damage and disrupting skin's protective barrier..."
