This saved me!

Posted by Reviewer1195091 on May 15, 2013

I've had serious heartburn and digestion problems for as long as i can remember.. after all the test i went through the doctors said i had too much acid because of the heartburn and nothing they gave me has EVER worked. when someone came with the theory that i might suffer from too little acid (Yes, you get heartburn from that, the symptoms are much alike) it all became clear to me. After the first day with Solgar beta-pepsin, i was totally fine. so dont always listen to the doctors, people!

This seems to help with digestion if you have low stomach acid. You can 'teach' your body to produce more stomach acid by taking betaine HCL with pepsin. These are the 'cleanest' HCL tablets I have found, most other ones are loaded with fillers and whatnot. Beware that it does contain milk, but the amount of milk is probably so small that unless you have a severe dairy allergy it shouldn't be an issue.
