Niacin plays an essential role in the activities of various enzymes involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates and fats, the functioning of the nervous system and digestive systems, the manufacturing of sex hormones, and the maintenance of healthy skin.
1 tablet daily with a meal.
Sorbitol, stearic acid, modified cellulose gum and magnesium stearate.
Suitable for vegetarians. Contains no yeast, dairy, egg, gluten, soy or wheat. Contains no sugar, starch, salt, preservatives, or artificial color, flavor or fragrance.
Caution: If you are pregnant, may become pregnant, breastfeeding, or have diabetes, liver dysfunctions or ulcers, consult your health care professional before using this product.
Note: Niacin may cause temporary flushing, tingling, skin reddening, and sensations of heat, especially if taken on an empty stomach. This is a natural and harmless reaction. Niacin 250 is time released to minimize the intensity of the flushing response, which varies from person to person.

iHerb Customer Reviews
Terrible product. I have been taking sustained release niacin for years and have never had one that exhibited such uncomfortable flushing.
I've been taking this same niacin for years, waiting for the flushing to subside or stop since it is a Timed Release Niacin. This has not happened yet. I experience horrible head throbbing and rash producing flushing. I'm looking for a different extended release niacin.
