Product Overview

Description

  • Dietary Supplement
  • Coenzyme B-5 Precursor

The Benefits of Sublingual Vitamins

In order for vitamins to be utilized by the body, they must first be converted into their active coenzyme forms. This sublingual precursor to coenzyme B-5 (also called coenzyme A) goes directly into your bloodstream in its active form, ready to go to work immediately. This avoids loss that may occur not only during digestion, but during the liver's conversion process as well. Pantethine is a combination of two molecules of pantethine. Pantethine itself is a combination of pantothenic acid (vitamin B-5) and beta-mercaptoethylamine. Pantethine is the precursor to coenzyme A, the critical starting point in the Krebs energy production cycle.

Suggested Use

1 to 3 tablets daily. Place tablet under the tongue and allow to dissolve slowly, altering the position of the tablet to avoid prolonged contact with the same area.

Other Ingredients

Sorbitol, mannitol, natural peppermint flavor, modified cellulose gum, and magnesium stearate.

Warnings

Note: If you are pregnant, may become pregnant, or breastfeeding, consult your health care professional before using this product.

It works

Posted by Gondwanaland00 on Feb 26, 2016

It has a subtle effect on lifting fatigue and supporting adrenals. I prefer to take low doses since I am sensitive to higher doses. Editing to add that it is a lifesaver for gout crises. I took 1/4 tablet with a tsp of yogurt at bedtime for 4 nights in a row and the crisis was gone!

Excellent product

I have found this very useful as part of my adrenal support program; as a precursor to b5. It is easily absorbed under the tongue, and I believe that I am getting maximum benefit from this. I will continue to use this product, along with the other coenzymated and sublingual b vitamins. They have been extremely useful in helping me to feel better, and as part of preventative for myself and my children.

It is needed for energy production. I take this along with coenzymate B complex. Unbeatable.

too long to dissolve

Posted by Reviewer2775246 on Apr 18, 2010

Actually, the idea of sublingual tablet is good. But, the bottle recommends 1 to 3 tablets a day. It already take nearly half hours to dissolve a tablet. Three tablets has 75mg pantethine. It is more convenient to swallow a 300mg Pantesin Pantethine. Although some will be lost during digestion, I don't think it will lose more than 225mg.
