Source Naturals, Triple Boron, 3 mg, 200 Capsules29 Reviews
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.
The Shipping Weight includes the product, protective packaging material and the actual shipping box. In addition, the Shipping Weight may be adjusted for the Dimensional Weight (e.g. length, width & height) of a package. It is important to note that certain types of products (e.g. glass containers, liquids, fragile, refrigerated or ice packed) will often require protective packaging material. As such, these products will reflect a higher Shipping Weight compared to the unprotected product.

- Three Forms for Enhanced Bioavailability
Source Naturals Triple Boron contains three bioavailable forms of the trace mineral boron, including one chelated form for enhanced delivery. Current research suggests boron is a factor in maintaining strong, healthy bones partly due to its positive effects on vital components of the body's own bone maintenance cycles. Preliminary studies also suggest boron may play an important part in supporting prostate and joint health as well as cognitive function.

iHerb Customer Reviews
Boron is banned for sale in Australia, luckily we can still import it for personal use. This came about when Rex Newnham of Perth discovered a lack of boron will cause arthritis. He then helped many people overcome arthritis by supplementing boron. He took his findings to a pharmaceutical company thinking they would be interested. Instead, the pharmaceutical company fined Mr Newnham & had boron classed as an S4 poison & banned for sale in Australia. Mr Newnham concluded they did not want arthritis cured & moved to England. My joints are continuing to improve with boron, more than any pharmaceutical drug has ever done for me!
From Washington state I have severe CFS which I have had for 20 years and this is the most helpful supplement I have ever taken. I don't even take one full capsule yet, started with about 1/5 capsule so far. Overall it is improving the quality of my life. I've read that it helps women with estrogen and men with testosterone levels (to regulate them). See 1988 study by Neilsen and Prasad "Essential and Toxic Trace Elements in Human Health and Disease" (see section on boron). This study states that there is evidence that boron is involved in major mineral metabolism (calcium, phosphate, magnesium). BTW, the first couple of times I took it I had a terrible headache later in the day and through the night. Read on a site where people were discussing it, that seems to be kind of normal - so I skipped it the next couple of days then took it again, then skipped a couple of days. I'm going slow. I am so glad I decided to give this a try.
