The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.
The Shipping Weight includes the product, protective packaging material and the actual shipping box. In addition, the Shipping Weight may be adjusted for the Dimensional Weight (e.g. length, width & height) of a package. It is important to note that certain types of products (e.g. glass containers, liquids, fragile, refrigerated or ice packed) will often require protective packaging material. As such, these products will reflect a higher Shipping Weight compared to the unprotected product.

iHerb Customer Reviews
I love that this lemon verbena soap with shea butter is all-natural, pure and unrefined, biodegradable, vegetable, unscented, suitable for all skin types and doesn't contain any dangerous and toxic chemicals, synthetic ingredients, additives, preservatives, artificial colorants, fragrances, endocrine disruptors, irritants or allergens, such as phthalates, sodium lauryl/ laureth sulfate, parabens, EDTA, animal by-products, and glutens. It contains nothing but saponified palm and coconut oils, safe and gentle cleansing agents, vegetable glycerin, a moisture locking agent, shea butter, which deeply moisturizes and nourishes the skin, improving its elasticity and making its softer and smoother, calms itching, reduces irritation and inflammation, and lemon verbena extract famous for its amazing uplifting aroma. This product smells great, lathers well, gently cleanses the skin, unclogs pores without leaving a greasy film and disrupting the skin's natural pH-balance, and lasts a long time. Overall, this lemon verbena French milled bar soap with shea butter is a great product and alternative to toxic, chemical-filled mainstream soaps. Totally recommend it, especially if you're feeling down.
If this were 25 cents, it may be worth it. It is TINY and dissolves fast. Pay close attention to the 1.5 oz (42.5 g) indication. This bar is the same size used in guest rooms at many hotels. It is not any where new close to a regular size bar of soap. Anything over 25 cents for this is a rip off, and I certainly feel ripped off, regardless of the nice smell, that you can experience a whooping two or three times before the bar is gone...
