Our current system of health care is not sustainable.
"... The costs of health care are overwhelming us... we cannot continue on this path. Our health insurance costs are crippling businesses and bankrupting middle class families... nearly 47 million Americans have no insurance coverage ...From 1990 to 2000, health care spending from all sources nearly doubled from approximately $696 billion to $1.3 trillion. And by 2010 the amount is expected to double again to $2.7 trillion..."
Yet, even as we realize the importance of taking charge of our own health, many of us are overwhelmed by the complexity of health issues and our lack of understanding concerning the workings of our bodies. The confusion of contradictory advice is compounded by a growing awareness of environmental factors that impact our health, such as pollution, unwholesome food, and unhealthy lifestyles. We know we need a new way to attain optimal health.
That solution is SystemiCare, the paradigm shift in health care.
SystemiCare demystifies the complexities of human health so you can better champion your own well-being with this comprehensive, preventive approach to a healthy, vibrant, fulfilling, and long life.

I haven't had time to read it from cover to cover, but this free booklet actually has tons of interesting facts that are beneficial to your health.
This is an excellent overview of the need to carefully examine the efficacy of conventional medicine. I read this book with great interest and have requested several copies of the same to share with family members. It is time for consumers to take control of their health. There is definitely a place for traditional medicine but the consumer must take the first step toward self awareness to improve the overall quality of life. This is a must read for anyone serious about taking control of his/her health.
