For our organic Breakfast Blend Tea, we combine flavorful Ceylon from Sri Lanka and full-bodied, dark Indian Assam for a rich and invigorating blend. Great with a splash of milk. Fair Trade Certified.
Our Organic Ceylon is from the Dimbulla region which has tea estates at elevations of 5,000 to 6,000 feet and seasonal monsoons. The teas are harvested December through February. This tea is characterized by long, chestnut colored leaves and rich taste. Our Organic Assam Black tea comes from the Sewpur Tea Estate in the Tinsukia district of Assam. This tea has distinctive malty flavor, full-body and a warm, reddish brown color in the cup. Both teas selected for our Organic Breakfast blend are certified by the renowned "Institute for MarketEcology" in Switzerland, which is an IFOAM (International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements) member, recognized worldwide.
Stash Tea is certified organic by Quality Assurance International. QAI is a professional organic certification service that is internationally recognized. QAI's program is designed to certify every step of the organic chain - from the land on which the product is grown, to the growers, to the post harvest facilities and the final processing and handling facilities. Such diligence provides assurance that the end product is indeed organic and that it complies with state, provincial, national and international organic standards. Products which carry the QAI certification seal convey the confidence of an unbroken "chain of custody" that all materials and processes have been individually certified as organic.
Since 1972, Stash has been dedicated to providing premium quality teas. Our passion for quality teas is unmatched. We source from premier tea gardens, sampling hundreds of teas but selecting only a handful for our customers. We search for unique, often rare - and above all, exceptional - teas to share with you. For our herbal and flavored blends, we buy whole herbs and spices from the world's best sources and, for superior flavor, mill them right before blending.
To savor the full flavor of our teas, bring fresh water to a rolling boil. Pour hot water directly over the tea bag in a pre-heated pot or cup. Brew 3-5 minutes or to desired taste. One tea bag makes 8 ounces of hot tea. For iced tea, brew double strength.
Blend of organic black tea.
Dependability With Stash Teas

Stash Tea, coming from Oregon, is a entity unlike anything else because every single tea I have ever tried that they have offered is different, delicious and addicting. The reason I buy Stash Breakfast Blend from iherb is because I can; I know I can find it and buy it at iherb, unlike trying to locate it in Silicon Valley where the demand is always greater than the supply in retail stores. The Stash Breakfast Blend is strong, an excellent choice in the morning for the first cup of tea (I drink tea all day long so I know how various teas work differently throughout the day). Because the tea is 100% organic the flavor is "straight" and not muddled up with chemicals or fillers. The Breakfast Blend is unlike any other "breakfast" tea that I have tried created by someone else. I find it delicious, which is why I drink it daily. Oh, tea has been found to be very healthful when drunk on a regular basis, which is one more great reason to try Stash teas.

I gave up coffee about 6 months ago and switched to tea. This black tea tastes great, no bitterness at all.
I liked this tea after I realized I needed to use city tap water or spring water to steep it. Reverse Osmosis water makes lousy tea.

This tea is pretty good if you ask me. I drink it with a tablespoon of molasses and it goes down quick smoothly. It is soothing for my mornings.
