What is Vata-Dosha?
In Ayurvedic principles, Vata governs the principle of air and is the energy of movement in your body. Vata can also be seen as our life-force or in yoga terms as 'prana'. Vata is the impulse to act and react.
A Vata imbalance can have some of the following indicators:
Very dry skin, poor circulation, feeling easily anxious and afraid when under stress, muscle twitching and spasms, moving and talking quickly.
Balance with Vata-Dosha
When Vata is in balance it allows for lightness, creativity and a feeling of contentment. Our Vata tea blend is a combination of herbs and tea to help you feel grounded and relaxed.
Ayurveda (Pronounced Eye-Yer-Vay-Dah) in Sanskrit means "knowledge of life." It is the art of holistic living and the oldest (5000 years old) medicine system in practice today. Ayurvedic philosophy indicates that everything in the universe is made up of 5 elements; fire, air, water, earth and space. These elements are combined under 3 "energies," known as 'Doshas' (body constitutions). The three doshas are Vata, Pitta and Kapha and represent the "subtle energy" that combines and balances the characteristics of the elements it influences. This force has to often combine and balance seemingly contrary forces such as fire and water under pitta. Vata combines air and space. While kapha brings water and earth together. The principle of balancing the body is done by first determining your Ayurvedic constitution or dosha type. When we recognize this, we can begin to create balance for ourselves in our health and lifestyle.
Brew one teaspoon of leaves in twelve ounces water for five minutes.
Organic roasted chicory root, organic lemongrass, organic orange peel, organic licorice.
from Gibraltar. A very mild sweet and citrusy tea. Perfect for the right occasion. very nice aroma from the mixture of lemongrass, licorice, orange peel and chicory root. Leaves a tingly sensation on the throat after having your tea... Very refreshing and relaxing. Recommended. Thanks for Fast delivery once again iHerb.
A nice calming tea. This tea's contents are a bit small, a decent amount gets through my tea infuser's metal mesh. But I am still able to make a nice cup of tea! You just get a bunch of loose tea at the bottom of your cup. This is otherwise a great tea! I recommend it!

Calming tea. Chicory root empties my bowels. Makes me feel light and grounded. Great for imbalanced Vata-dosha. I'm not fan of the taste, but it's not strong or bad either. Comes in luxury feeling container. I mostly use for easing my stomach.

Delicious herbal blend, grounding, rejuvenating and warming, but not to sweet, with spicy tint. Let the tea steep a little longer to allow the flavor to emerge. Tastes great hot or cold! Also high quality and charming packaging for reasonable price!
