Thorne Research, HMC Hesperidin, 60 Veggie Caps6 Reviews
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.
The Shipping Weight includes the product, protective packaging material and the actual shipping box. In addition, the Shipping Weight may be adjusted for the Dimensional Weight (e.g. length, width & height) of a package. It is important to note that certain types of products (e.g. glass containers, liquids, fragile, refrigerated or ice packed) will often require protective packaging material. As such, these products will reflect a higher Shipping Weight compared to the unprotected product.

Hesperidin is a flavonoid derived from citrus fruits (lemons and oranges). Many experts believe flavonoids like hesperidin have a synergistic activity with vitamin C. Hesperidin may also increase the strength of veins and capillaries. In addition, hesperidin can reduce histamine release from mast cells by strengthening the cell membrane (mast cells are blood cells that contain granules of histamine and other substances).
While hesperidin itself is not very water soluble, hesperidin methyl chalcone (HMC) is highly water soluble, allowing for greater absorption of the molecule in the gastrointestinal tract. As with all flavonoids, HMC is an antioxidant. Hesperidin also supports eye health and has blood vessel-stabilizing effects.

iHerb Customer Reviews
i very frequently suffer from running nose. lack of rest or too much diet soda or perfume and my day is gone. so i had to do research into it and realised the function mast cells play in this. so i searched "mast cells" on iherb and this one of the products i tried. i love the fact it is soluble in water as that enhances absorption. after 2 weeks of it building up in my system i feel my nose less susceptible. i love this because it is more economical than other products and it tackles the issue of mast cells.
My naturopathic doctor recommended Thorne Hesperidin for my chronic migraines. Hesperidin strengthens and protects the blood vessels, which are under considerable stress during a migraine. I have been taking 3/day for the last month, and it has helped a lot, reducing the frequency and intensity of my migraines.
