Olive leaf extract is derived from the leaves of the olive tree (Olea europaea) and contains compounds, specifically oleuropein, that have demonstrated potent antioxidant and immune-enhancing properties. In addition, extracts from olive leaf can help maintain the body's normal inflammatory response. Evidence suggests olive leaf extract may be effective for dilation of coronary blood vessels, thus supporting blood flow to the heart and helping to maintain already normal blood pressure and cardiac rhythm.

This particular olive leaf supplement has the largest amount of oleopurin I've seen. Don't be fooled by mgs...its the % of oleopurin that matters.
I didn't notice a big difference in how I felt taking olive leaf for fibromyalgia type pain but it didn't do me any harm either.
Great for high content.

Thorne is a great company and their olive leaf is superior. My issue with them is that they suggest 2 or 3 times a day--but they only have 60 per bottle. Next time I'm ordering Herbal Factors at 90 pill at 15% ole. ( Thorne is 18%) And I'll have 45% instead of Thorne's 36%d taking Herbal Factors at 3 a day- where Thorne is 2 a day. It come out less expensive also.
For my candida & leaky gut

I took only one capsule per day with other capsule of coconut oil. It really worked for intestinal candida in my case. My nutritionist alerted me to take just one capsule each, because taking too much oils and herbs at once can be harmful to your liver.
Works well. Suitable for everyday use if needed.

I use it for my child with a lowered immune function as everyday treatment to prevent bacterial overload. In combination with other products for that purposes that I rotate it works well at least several years. Also Thorne's olive leaf is the most effective that we've tried.
Great for gut dysbiosis

It was discovered that I have some nasty pathogenic bacteria in my intestinal tract, so this product (along with a few others) has been added to my regimin because of its ability to kill positive and negative bacterial strains.
