Reason to Love....................................
Echinacea—or purple coneflower—was used by a number of Native American tribes for hundreds of years before it was introduced into Western herbal traditions. Echinacea is renowned and widely studied for its ability to promote a healthy immune system response. Our herbalists combined it with elderberry concentrate to add a deeply purple twist to our popular Echinacea Plus tea.
Sweet and berry-like, with mild bitter notes. You may notice echinacea's characteristic tongue-tingling effect, a sign of very high quality.
Let the tip of your tongue tell all...One of echinacea's distinguishing characteristics is the presence of alkylamides, which are partly responsible for its capacity to stimulate the immune system. You'll know that you've discovered truly high quality and effective echinacea when you feel a slight tingling on your tongue after drinking the tea.
Don't worry—the tinling will subside quickly, but echinacea's effects won't. With echinacea purpurea, echinacea extract and elderberry concentrate, for an extra punch, you'll be feeling good as new in no time.
We've Got the Right Stuff
We raise the bar. The quality standard of the herbs we use is hard to pronounce, difficult to meet, and it's what makes us different, better. We're not ashamed to say it. Pharmacopoeial: it's the only quality standard our herbalists can rely on when blending teas for your health and wellness.
Pour 8 oz freshly boiled water over 1 tea bag.
Cover cup & Steep for 10-15 minutes.
Squeeze tea bag to ensure maximum goodness in your cup.
Enjoy 5-6 cups throughout the day. Good with honey!

Very nice flavor. It greatly helped my flu. The price was very reasonable.
Delicious and strong. I make one whole pot with one tea bag and it lasts me a few cups of tea. Add a little honey and it's a great cleanser and booster. I know the taste of echinacea is not for everyone but I personally love it.
not as potent as before

Remember having read a review that said it could make three cups of tea (not diluted). but mine could hardly make a second one. Also, i found the relieve of symptoms not as obvious as i used it two or three years ago.

I try to always have some of it available at home. Whenever I feel a lurking bug (which is thankfully unusual) I have a few cups during the day. And shazam, bug be gone!!! Plain and simple...it works like a champ.

The taste is pleasant enough and the quality is good.

I drink one cup 1-3 times a week, especially if one of my students has a cold.
