The Ginger Tea Tradition
Ginger has long been a popular healthful herb. Ginger root is actually a rhizome, a root-like underground stem. It has been used in China since the 4th century B.C. Ginger traditionally was used as a warming beverage. It was a popular drink, consumed during meals and at other times of the day. It is said that the Chinese scholar Confucius had ginger nearby at every meal. It was regarded as a tonic for yang "chi", or energy, and was a favorite infusion during the cold and chills season. Ginger was brought to the West from Asia, where it has been used as a healthy herb and food spice for 2,000 years or more! Ginger has become increasingly popular because of its delicious, warming and spicy taste. 100% pure ginger root sets this tea apart from other ginger tea blends and gives you the maximum amount of ginger taste! Our ginger tea is delicious hot or iced. Enjoy it as is, or try adding lemon and honey or your favorite sweetener.
Triple Leaf Tea's Ancient Chinese Herbs & Teas
Traditional Chinese herbology began in approximately 2500 B.C. Recently, here in the West, people have discovered the value of this ancient system. Tea drinkers are able to enjoy a wider variety of Chinese herbs and teas that rarely were used in the West until now. The Chinese system of herbology has been recorded in ancient texts, which are studied and employed even today. This time tested knowledge has been passed on from generation to generation over the centuries
Triple Leaf Tea comes from such a tradition. It is made in the U.S.A. by a Chinese American family-owned business. The company owner can remember stories of his own grandfather selling herbs and teas in his village in China. Today, these traditional Chinese herbs and teas are available to you. We wish you harmony and health.

This is one of the best ginger-only teas I've had. I normally buy Traditional Medicinals brand, which is my favorite, but this is just as good and more affordable.
Delicious :) One bag also makes a good two strong cups. Long steeping time and very hot water recommended.

I cannot get enough of this tea! After years of trying dozens of different brands, I haven't looked for another since trying Triple Leaf Tea's Ginger Tea. It's strong and powerful and full of delicious ginger flavour without any bitterness or odd flavours. It's all natural and enjoyable hot or cold! I'm suffering from a Qi deficiency and this tea is working wonders to improve that! Be sure to check out our page for other healthy gluten free product reviews! :)

Good stuff -- slightly more grams per bag than Traditional Medicinals -- though it is not organic -- but it is a much better price. I have switched over to this rather than pay more than Trad. Med. brand. It is a good quality straight up Ginger tea.

I really like this tea: very gingery and spicy, it tastes nearly as good as fresh grated ginger steeped in boiling water. It's not only very tasty, but it is good for upset stomach. Highly recommended.
