Horny Goat Weed - Yang Herbal Tea Tradition
Horny goat weed (epimedium) has been renowned in China for thousands of years, as a yang-supporting herb for use by both men and women. Shen Nong's Canon of Medicinal Herbs, compiled around 400 A.D., discusses its use. The Chinese call epimedium Yin Yang Huo, which literally translates to horny goat weed. This tea is made in the traditional manner by combining horny goat weed with other synergistic and revered Chinese herbs, including astragalus, fo-ti, eucommia and licorice root. They were considered as healthy herbs for nourishing, sustaining and building the chi (vital force). Licorice is added to support the effects of the other herbs. It is used for this purpose in many Chinese herbal formulas. Triple Leaf Tea continues the traditional time-tested way to use these valuable herbs, brewed as a tea. Modern research shows that horny goat weed contains many bioflavonoids, a group of naturally occurring compounds that have beneficial properties.
Triple Leaf Tea's Ancient Chinese Herbs & Teas
Traditional Chinese herbology began in approximately 2500 B.C. Recently, here in the West, people have discovered the value of this ancient system. Tea drinkers are able to enjoy a wider variety of Chinese herbs and teas that rarely were used in the West until now. The Chinese system of herbology has been recorded in ancient texts, which are studied and employed even today. This time tested knowledge has been passes on from generation to generation over the centuries.
Triple Leaf Tea comes from such a tradition. It is made in the U.S.A. by a Chinese American family-owned business. The company owner can remember stories of his own grandfather selling herbs and teas in his village in China. Today, these traditional Chinese herbs and teas are available to you. We wish you harmony and health.

This tea has a nice herbal taste, but you're not going to buy it for that. Two bags about 90 minutes before bed/making love - no noticeable effects of any kind on myself or her. Four bags solo the next day. Warm pressure in my chest, no other noticed effects. 8 bags the next day (4 back to back) - Similar warmth/pressure in my chest and now head, elevated blood pressure, still no feelings or urges out of the normal. 8 hours post - some of the best wood in 10 years and a wild night. Suggestions: Drink 4 hours before, minimum two bags. Careful not to go too high, I think 8 was overdoing it. I read that you should cycle this, that is use it now and then, not as a daily tonic. Edit: One of my girlfriends says she LOVES the flavour, the best out of all the herbal teas I've been buying. Bumping the rating one star due to that.
