Triple Leaf Tea's Ancient Chinese Herbs & Teas
Traditional Chinese herbology began in approximately 2500 B.C. Recently, here in the West, people have discovered the value of this ancient system. Tea drinkers are able to enjoy a wider variety of Chinese herbs and teas that rarely were used in the West until now. The Chinese system of herbology has been recorded in ancient texts, which are studied and employed even today. This time tested knowledge has been passed on from generation to generation over the centuries.
Triple Leaf Tea comes from such a tradition. It is made in the U.S.A. by a Chinese American family-owned business. The company owner can remember stories of his own grandfather selling herbs and teas in his village in China. Today, these traditional Chinese herbs and teas are available to you. We wish you harmony and health.
The Jasmine Green Tea Tradition
Jasmine, native to the Persian Gulf, was brought to China in the third century A.D. Green tea enriched with the scent of jasmine flowers has long been one of the favorite healthy beverages of China. Traditionally, jasmine was regarded as having comforting, relaxing and warming qualities. It was considered to help brighten one's mood, and was used as a soothing beneficial beverage. Our tea is made from mild green tea leaves combined with fragrant jasmine flowers, creating a delicious aromatic beverage, in the traditional Chinese style. Considerable research on green tea has shown it to be high in polyphenols, a group of powerful antioxidants. Experts recommend drinking three or more cups of green tea a day. Make this healthful tea a part of your daily diet, just as Asian people do. Enjoy it hot or iced.
HOT TEA: Pour 1 cup of boiling water over a tea bag. Let steep 3-5 minutes. Remove the tea bag, squeeze gently into the cup.
ICED TEA: Pour 1 cup of boiling water over 2 tea bags. Let steep 3-5 minutes. Remove the tea bags, squeeze gently, then add ice.
To extract more of tea’s benefits, steep 5 minutes. For a delicious change, try it with lemon and honey, or your favorite sweetener.
Green tea leaves, jasmine flowers.
We use oxygen bleached tea bags.

iHerb Customer Reviews
Jasmine green tea is my favorite, have been drinking it for years; I usually buy loose tea because I like the occasional flower to float in my cup. Considering the low price and that it was a tea bag, I didn't expect much. Very surprised how delightful this tea tastes! Smooth with a lovely jasmine scent and no interference flavor from the bag. Definitely recommended, will buy again.
This tea has a flavorful jasmine taste--so much so that I wondered if it was artificially flavored, but ... it doesn't appear so. Very tasty!
I love this tea

I am always searching for a jasmine green tea. This one was highly recommended so I gave it a try. It is good enough. Opening the package where is a noticeable jasmine scent. I prefer the heavy linger of jasmine, but this tea taste pretty good, and I would recommend it for those who like the hint of jasmine.
