Twinlab's Emulsified Norwegian Cod Liver Oil was created for people who have difficulty with digesting oil. This unique formula supplies the essential fatty acids EPA and DHA, which support both cardiovascular and mood health.+ Clinical studies have shown that a diet that has at least 400 mg of Omega-3 fatty acids (300 mg of which are EPA and DHA) nutritionally supports cardiovascular health.
Our product is produced in a pharmaceutical-grade facility and is emulsified with natural soy lecithin and apple pectin making the EPA and DHA more readily available to the digestive system for better absorption, assimilation and utilization. For overall health and wellness, make Twinlab's orange-flavored Emulsified Norwegian Cod Liver Oil a part of your daily health regimen. Molecularly distilled for purity.

I like this product. I think the orange flavor is the most tolerable choice and certainly better tasting than no flavor. I'm not too bothered by the emulsification, and my body seems to use it better than the natural unemulsified variety. I chose it mostly because of the reasonable price, and reordered because it seemed fresh and high quality. It keeps well in the refrigerator.
I am completely satisified with this cod liver oil. It has a pleasant orange taste that goes down your throat smoothly. The best part is that you rarely burp it up. Thanks Iherb for carrying a wonderful line of products and for the speedy deliverance of my products.

This cod liver oil is delicious! You wouldn't think that one could say "delicious" and "cod liver oil" in a sentence but truly it tastes like a creamsicle.

Nasty funk oil

I have been taking Cod Liver Oil for a while- I usually use Garden of Life or Carleson Labs- Thought I would try the flavoured types to make it more accessible to my husband. What I found in this bottle was a strange thick opaque syrup, it tasted sweet, somewhat reminiscent of the orange pieces in those little fruit shaped hard candies. I gave it a try, and found it was gross and ill-textured. I will never take it again. Hopefully either my children (who Love Carleson's Lemon flavored oil- they ask for seconds!) or my husband will be able to stomach it so it won't be a total waste. Read the full list of ingredients- I did not until just now- there is a ton of unnecessary funk in here that I ought to have read prior to purchase- it would have clued me into the strange nature of this "cod liver oil". I am sure it may have started out that way, or that its in there some where- but given a spoon full of this, that would be one of the last things I would guess.
