The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.

A steady rhythm creates a steady mind. Sit cross-legged or in a chair with feet flat. With eyes gently closed, close off right nostril with right hand and take smooth, equal breaths through the left nostril. Your target breath rate is 4 to 6 breaths per minute. Then, switch sides. Feeling at peace starts with breathing deeply.

A cup of this at night, and I really do get sleepy and sleep well. I usually actually get about 2-3 cups out of one tea bag and start sipping an hour or two before I want to sleep. Sleepytime never did this for me, but Bedtime hits the spot and relaxes me.
I like the taste of this tea, it's quite sweet because the added stevia. This is quite relaxing and has helped me to cut down on actual sleeping pills on not-so-bad nights. Anyhow I found the other Yogi tea, Kava stress relief, to be even better sleep aid. I recommend to test both and see wich one suits you best.
