Blended with all natural fruit sweeteners, this delicious organic oat bran cereal, as part of a diet low in saturated fats and cholesterol, is a great way to promote a healthy diet.

Total Prep Time: 25 Minutes
1/4 cup soy spread or Hain Vegetable Oil
1 pkg Arrowhead Mills Cinnamon Raisin Almond Instant Oatmeal
1/3 cup honey
1 egg or egg substitute
1/4 cup Arrowhead Mills Raw Wheat Germ
1/4 cup Arrowhead Mills Flax Seeds
1 cup Arrowhead Mills Oat Bran Flakes, crushed
1 tsp Apple Pie Spice
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 cup Arrowhead Mills Pastry Flour
Preheat oven to 350ºF. In a medium bowl, blend oil or soy spread, egg and honey. Add remaining ingredients, mixing well. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls onto lightly oiled cookie sheet and bake for 13-15 minutes, or until done.
Organic oat bran, organic whole grain oat flour, organic fruit juice concentrate (apple, pear or grape), organic whole grain oat flakes, sea salt, ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and natural vitamin E (to preserve freshness).
May contain traces of wheat.

This cereal is hard to find, but it's worth it. It has a slight sweetness -- I sometimes supplement mine with a little honey -- and is easy to eat. It's not cardboard-y like some other bran flake cereals, so it's a bit more tender. It does tend to get soggy in milk, but I prefer my cereal soggy rather than tough and hard to chew.

Not gluten free, but not made of wheat. Fruit juice sweetened. I mix this with the spelt flakes for my kids, they love it.
