It is more clear than ever that a healthy diet should have whole grain foods as its foundation/. Bob's Red Mill Whole Grain Oat Flour is a great way to add whole grains to your healthy diet. Not only are oats a good source of dietary fiber, their soluble fiber can also help reduce cholesterol levels in the body. Add some healthy and delicious Whole Grain Oat Flour to your baking recipe or as a thickener or breading.
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 6 Tbsp Maple Sugar or Light Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup Almond Meal
- 1 cup sifted Bob's Red Mill Oat Flour
Preheat oven at 300°F. Grease cookie sheet, set aside. With a hand mixer, blend the butter, maple sugar and vanilla extract until creamy. Add the almond meal flour and the Bob's Red Mill Oat Flour and mix until the dough sticks together.
Form the dough into 1 1/2 inch balls. Place them on the prepared cookie sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes. Remove the cookies from the oven and allow the cookies to cool completely before enjoying. Makes 2 dozen cookies.

My local grocery store doesn't sell oat flour, but Bob always comes through. This stuff is inexpensive, nutritious, and works well in my recipes.
This product is very good. I use it in almost all my baking.

Great size. I have several recipes that call for oat flour & Bob's Red Mill has a great size bag, well in date & good price.

used this to make whole grain pie crusts this Thanksgiving and they turned out great! Could probably use as a substitute for regular whole wheat flour as well.
