iHerb Customer Reviews
I love Eden Foods Crushed Tomatoes with No Salt Added in Glass Jars with No BPA. . Eden Foods Cares about the Health of their Customers. Eden Foods Please put your Whole Tomatoes and Diced Tomatoes in Glass Jars as Well.
The tomatoes are top quality, unsalted (add your own to your own taste), and this is one of the few ways you can get canned tomatoes without a BPA-containing can lining. I do wish Eden offered diced or chopped tomatoes in a jar as well. iHerb's packing of these jars is a bit wasteful -- I order case quantities, but instead of shipping a case, they remove the jars from the manufacturer's case and individual wrap each jar. Not only does that waste a lot of bubble wrap, but the jars end up shipping on their sides instead of upright, which puts the tomatoes in constant contact with the lid -- which has a little bit of PVC that Eden hasn't figured out how to eliminate. I'd rather avoid leeching from the PVC into my tomatoes, so I wish iHerb would pack these upright in the case when case quantities are ordered.
