The benefits of the cold-milling process.
Flax is digested most effectively when ground. Some grinding methods generate heat when milled, spurring early Omega-3 oxidation. FlaxUSA uses a unique Cold-Milled process, which gently grinds the seed without significantly raising the temperature. This proprietary method preserves the nutrients, flavor and extends the shelf life to 22 months.
Easy, Convenient & Ready to Eat.

iHerb Customer Reviews
I read that ground flax is more digestible. I also hope the claim that this flax has a longer shelf-life is true, although we are consuming it quickly as it is easy to add to food. Unground flax constipated my two year-old. This product appears to be better digested.
The Title says it all. I guess the less cooked raw taste is bad, but probably more healthy.
