We're Different from the Rest
Hodgson Mill Oat Bran Cereal is made from top-quality oats grown in America's heartland. The oats are milled to remove the fibrous coat, or bran layer, from the rest of the kernel. This bran contains a high level of Soluble Fiber, demonstrated to help reduce cholesterol and contribute to heart health as well as having a beneficial effect on blood sugar.
The superior flavor and texture of our Oat Bran Cereal results from the deliberate milling process used by Hodgson Mill to produce the bran. The end result is 100% oat bran, with no fillers or other additives.

I bought this in hopes of getting a flavorful hot cereal. This is not it. It is lower in calories than most hot cereals I've found however the blandness of this cereal got to me. Unfortunately, I bought two boxes of this so I will have to get creative on what to do with it.

I really love the taste of oat bran added to recipes. Instead of just using it to make muffins, I use it to replace half of the oatmeal called for in cookies, pancake, and bread recipes.

Hot steamy breakfast

I must admit i have a fetish for oats and tried a lot of different kinds. This is very good, both taste and nutritional profile. Filled with loads of fiber and it is very hearty and thick. Sweeten with some splenda and you can give the starbucks/mac's oatmeal the boot. :D Recommended!
