Direct shipment from distributor:
We do not use a third party to handle our international packages. All orders are packed and shipped out directly from our
air-conditioned warehouse.
Focused on e-commerce:
iHerb is dedicated to providing first-rate service through e-commerce. We are not a division of a storefront chain or catalog company!
Declaration of value and contents:
Please note that we declare the full value (minus the shipping charge) of your order on the shipping label (Airmail) or documents (DHL or UPS). Also, we label the contents as "Nutritional Supplements for Personal Use".
Import taxes:
You may have to pay import taxes or customs duties. These charges are separate from your shipping charge, and you will be billed directly for them. Based on the feedback we have received from our valued Japanese customers, you will be paying such taxes only if using DHL or UPS, and if the total value of your order is over $120.00. If you use USPS Airmail (Post Office), there is no import tax. USPS Airmail, however, is limited to orders valued up to $80.00, and weighing no more than 3 lbs.
Import restrictions:
As of October 2006, our valued customers in Japan have not had any issues or difficulties with ordering products from iHerb. As a general rule however, we suggest that you don't order hormones, such as DHEA, Pregnenolone, HGH, etc.
