Direct shipment from distributor:
We do not use a third party to handle our international packages. All orders are packed and shipped out directly from our
air-conditioned warehouse.
Focused on e-commerce:
iHerb is dedicated to providing first-rate service through e-commerce. We are not a division of a storefront chain or catalog company!
Declaration of value and contents:
Please note that we declare the full value (minus the shipping charge) of your order on the shipping label (Airmail) or documents (DHL or UPS). Also, we label the contents as "Nutritional Supplements for Personal Use".
Import taxes:
Where applicable, Customs duty is levied on the transaction value of the goods (the price actually paid for them). Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 12.5 percent is then calculated on the duty-inclusive value plus international freight and/or insurance charges. No revenue collection will be made if the total amount owing on the goods imported is less than $50. You may have to pay additional customs duty, or quarantine fees ( if using UPS or DHL), etc. These charges are separate from your shipping charge, and you will be billed directly for them by your local customs office. For further information about valuation of goods or calculation of charges, please contact your local customs.
Import restrictions:
As of October 2006, our valued customers in New Zealand have not had any issues or difficulties with ordering products from iHerb. Each country has different laws and regulations about buying products from other countries. As a New Zealand customer, you are responsible for making sure that buying nutritional supplements from the United States is allowed. Please contact your local customs office for more information on prohibited or banned products.
