Jarrow Formulas Extra Virgin Organic Coconut Oil from the fresh flesh of the coconut palm fruit, (Cocos nucifera) is unrefined and expeller-pressed in a controlled, indoor environment. Coconut oil is stable even during long periods of storage. Because its melting point is 75-76° F, coconut oil can be used in both liquid or solid forms for cooking and baking.

I've tried 2 extra virgin coconut oils so far from iHerb : Nutiva and Jarrow Forulas. Nutiva is cold pressed and Jarrow is expeller pressed. I looked up the differences between Cold Pressed and Expeller Pressed : Cold Pressed is expeller pressed in a heat controlled environment and temperature is not to exceed 120F. So, just Expeller Pressed may not have the heat controlled environment in the factory. I found Jarrow has a stronger young coconut flavor than the Nutiva, and I personally prefer the taste of Jarrow better.
I have very dry skin and have tried many product, which made me break out or just didn't work. A friend give me Jarrow's coconut oil to try and low and behold IT WORKED!!! with no break outs, just smooth skin!! love it. I would recommend this product to anyone who has dry, itchy skin. I use it on my face and my daughter uses it and a body cream.

After reading about the benefits of this baby I just HAD to give it a try, I got 2 jars and made these little small body oil mixes for my entire family, went through the 1st jar on the first day with a little bit left to spare. I've had trouble my entire life with dry skin and hair but so far I'm loving how this oil makes me feel, my scalp doesn't feel as tight anymore and my hands have been feeling more comfortable if I didn't moisturize immediately after washing them. Would definitely keep stocking up on it.
