Combine 1¾ cups water, 1 cup rice and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil over high heat. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Remove from heat. Let stand covered for a few minutes. Fluff & serve.
A rice cooker may be used with the same water-to-rice ratio.

takes about 30-40min to cook,half the time of whole rice.easier to digest than whole rice and the texture is rich & somewhat flexible.very glad i tried this one,its a keeper!...

The taste is somewhat strange compared to red/brown rice, but I believe it should be so.

Very tasty but a bit spendy but I like the colored rices for their antioxidants.
