Behold the Beauty of the Coconut Blossom
Coconuts seem to get all the attention, but look beyond the flashy fruit and you'll find the coconut palm tree bears another delicious gem. Enter the coconut blossom, the source of our delicious, Organic and Non-GMO Coconut Sugar. Surprisingly, it doesn't taste a bit like the fruit of the coconut. Organic coconut sugar has its own subtle taste, making it a perfect 1:1 replacement for refined sugar. You can enjoy it in all of your favorite things from baking to smoothies, coffee, tea and more. Organic coconut sugar includes naturally occurring nutrients magnesium, potassium, zinc, iron, B vitamins and amino acids. What more could you want from a sweetener? We're happy to report that it's Non-GMO and sustainable too. The coconut palm tree produces 50% to 75% more sugar per acre than cane sugar, while only using 20% of the resources. A delicious gift that keeps on growing. Sweet!

iHerb Customer Reviews
A nice product but be aware that it is not white in color as you might expect from coconut meat so does not replace white sugar. It is produced from the flower part of the palm and is brown, very close to date sugar in taste, with the same sort of grainy texture. A good product nevertheless.
I prefer this to regular sugar now. It has a more complex flavor and isn't as sickly sweet. As it says you can substitute 1:1 but I haven't tried it myself. Not being as sweet adjustments might have to be made. It is delicious on cereal or porridge though and only the tiniest sprinkling is needed.
