This is a extra virgin coconut oil for multi-uses! I use this coconut oil to make gluten-free recipes. I love one teaspoon in my coffe. It helps to absorb fat-soluble vitamins – I love to take with vitamin D, E, etc.. It perfectly moisturizes and nourishes skin or hair. Coconut oil as a moisturizer is fantastic, especially right out of the shower. Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is thermogenic. That means one of the benefits is that it heats up your body, speeds the metabolism and helps burn more calories faster. When you increase your metabolic rate, you can decrease what is known as “insulin resistance,” which scientifically is the main driver for weight gain / loss. If you have a low insulin resistance, you are more prone to gain weight and to experience blood sugar crashes. Also, coconut oil slows the absorption of carbohydrates into the body.
