Only a small handful of dried berries makes about 3-4 cups of I what I call a concentrate. I simmer for a few minutes, strain the berries and make two more batches with the same berries. Then I dispose of the berries. The tea is very dark purple blue color and lasts in the frig for several days. I add some of the concentrate to coffee and my green tea and chocolate drink. It's very low in natural fruit sugar which is great for us as we both have blood sugar issues. I rarely get flus but if I did have one I would use elderberry tea many times a day to see if it works for me to cut down on flu symptoms.

I drive full time and my recovery from sunglare, and night-time headlight glare is excellent. I'm 61 years young and want to protect my eyes for the rest of my life. I take one to two of these pills/day as well as astaxanthin and life extention macuguard ocular support for night driving. People with light colored eyes are more sensitive to glare as well as what aging does to the eyes. My skin looks tan which is from the amount of carotenoids I'm taking so I'm probably getting a little bit of sunscreen effect on the skin. If this bothers you just take one pill per day instead of the amount I take. Hope this helps anybody with eye problems.

I keep forgetting to use it everyday but when I do I seen to feel warmer during those cold spring days. If I get infection anywhere in my body I'll increase the drops and report back again on the results. I suspect I'm subclinically hypothyroid so I try it everyday and later on check my tsh at my annual exam. If good results I'll post it.

For years I rarely remember my dreams. With p5p my dreams are vivid. I know this because a gynecologist recommended p5p for menopausal women and as a side benefit dream recall.
Soils are poor

The farmers are not taking care of our soil like they use to long time ago. So this fills the gap.
Great for low carb diet

This is a great for making low carb gravy, pudding, adding texture to chocolate tea drinks, thicken yogurt to a pudding texture. Just be careful not to add too much otherwise its like a firm jello. It helps me avoid middle age weight gain.

Blaylock's newsletter mentioned taking 20mg lutein 3 times per day to possible stop cataract progression. Maybe but just in case I'll try it long term. I'm in my middle 50s so my eye health is important. I notice that I don't rely on reading glasses as much. I trust Dr. Blaylock so I'll keep taking these for preventing or at least slowing down cataracts.

Theanine is important to me because I have a high stress job and getting older does'nt help. I'm a bus driver so the calming effect helps alot and it does'nt induce sleepiness which is good if you're driving.

My husband loves this color! My workmates say it looks very pretty and natural looking. It blends well with my new growth which is mostly grey but blends in better than the light chestnut I used previously. I'll always buy this color : )
Strong sulfer smell
Posted by francesjoan on May 27, 2010
It's good for the eyes which is why I use it. I mix it in blueberry juice and green tea with lecithin. It still has a strong sulfer smell. Oh well...I know its organic and healthy.

My a1c was 5.9 October 2015. This April it went down to 5.7 not significant change but maybe due to Oregon grape root. I'm thin yet I have this blood sugar problem. This product may help overtime.
