Good one but not cruelty free

I don't know how, but I just read 100% bamboo, and was like, yey, 100% bamboo, can you make bristles from bamboo? Cruelty free, hurrah... But I kind of didn't really get that it was only the handle that was bamboo.. It is made of animal hairs.. As far as the brush goes it is pretty ok..
Oh no, great schampoo effect yes but...
I hated the smell. It is this nondescript cheap fruity/floral things of all cheap schampoos, smothering and sickly sweet. And after Reading the contents a bit more carefully I was appalled, I should definitely have studied it better Before buying. It contains collagen, and as far as I know it means it contains animal by-Products. Seeing it was a large bottle I couldn't just waste it, but every time I used it I felt the sweet smell covering up for dead animals... :( Very sad. I didn't previously know that collagen had animal origin. :( And the bottle says nothing like "not tested on animals etc" so... I Think it is safe to say: NOT SUITABLE FOR VEGETARIANS OR VEGANS. Other than that: The schampoo works ok.
YUm green and many tops
It is very green. Many tops, not only the straw. I grind it in my coffee grinder and then I make tea, and sometimes I leave the oats in, and sometimes I strain. I reuse the oat mush in my green smoothies and shakes. It is gritty and even strawey but since the Health benefit seems so good, I just decided to eat it. In shakes it kind of disappeares with all the other gritty stuff. :) I love it. And yes, seems to have a calming and kind of healing feeling to the nerves. But it might be not more than a feeling, but since I like it, I will keep it.
Great quality. Great taste. And apparently this is good for you... Just remember that it doesn't contian iodide... so you need to see that you get enough from some other source. Preferrably a bioavailable source like kelp and dulse..
Totally ok, but Now Foods is better...
Now Foods' nutritional yeast tastes a lil bit better, and has better vitamin B profile!
pay a little more and get green oat straw and milky tops from frontier natural

Nope, it is not as good as the green oats from Frontier Natural. THe straw is golden Brown, contains hardly any tops, and brews a yellow tea. Tea tastes ok but not comparable to green oats. I just had to try and see if I could save a few dollars.. and no, will not buy again. Not even my rabbits seem to enjoy this, and they usually like green oats. But if you don't care about the greeness and freshness this still tastes ok as herbal te goes. Neutral and mild. Interesting enough there is not expiry or production date on the package.
Scent not what I like
Hm, scent isn't bad. But for me that is the kind of neural scent of something that you mop floors with. But the Product is still good. I do use it in the shower. But will opt for a better scent next time and keep this for doing wool laundry, I Think it might be great for wool and silk wash.

Great taste. Although I am a bit freaked out about radiation.. DOn't even know if I need to worry... But I tend to.
Great in coconut oil as a body lotion during summer. Totally refreshing.
Best I've tried.
I haven't tried KAL's yeast, but it is no longer available here so never mind. But I tried Bob's Red Mill. I prefer Now Food by far, both for taste and for vitamin content.
great herbal. I use it on my skin as fragrance. Warm camphoric herbaceous smell. But it is not the recommended use I might add. But I haven't had any problems. I do it on my own risk.

Now I tried it in warm milk.It makes a very nice malted milk with very slight sweet taste. It tastes wonderful. On its own it has a somewhat sweet taste and bitterness and a malty flavor. I Think it can be used in marinades as well as in baking. It might be an aquired taste on its own. Be warned.
