one of the most valuable food nutrients - vitamins, minerals, amino acids - and most spectacular effects on general health, including physical, mental and emotional.
Besides sugars and proteins, maca also contains uridine, malic acid and benzoyl derivative, and several glucosides. Nutritional value of dried maca root is high, similar to cereal grains such as rice and wheat. In short, 60% is carbohydrates, 10% protein, 8.5% fiber and 2.2% fat. Maca is rich in:
essential minerals, especially selenium, calcium, magnesium and iron
essential fatty acids such as linolenic acid (omega-6), the palmitic, oleic acid (omega-9)
amino acids - 18 are present in the composition (of 22 possible!) - including 7
amino acids. As we know, amino acids form protein structure, so if I hear questions like "Where do you get your protein?", I think I will choose to ignore them from now on
Vitamins B1, B2, C and E
The beneficial effects of plants on sexual function may be due to the high concentration of proteins and vital nutrients, though maca also contains a substance called (breathe) p-methoxybenzyl isothiocyanate, which is famous for aphrodisiac properties.
However, since using maca feel much better and certainly is one of the supplements that you will use from now uninterrupted. Definitely will not buy multivitamins and other minerals.
It is one of the few supplements that I feel good and feel positive effects from the first days of use.
