Nothing natural about this stuff

Posted on May 05, 2012

I really don't know if this product functions well or not. I ordered it when I was new to iHerb and read the description carelessly. The botanicals might be certified organic alright, but please note that the main ingredient is silicone. Maybe that combination is "unique" and "eco chic" but I certainly do not want it in my hair. And I do not approve of that type of green-washing.

Pleased!

I'm very peased with this serum and have no longing to try another brand. I'm actually very pleased with all Weleda Pomgegranate products that I have tried and will keep using them.(I have sensitive skin and have also tried Weleda Almond, but didn't like it at all.)

Don't like the smell

The effect of the cream is okay, but I wouldn't buy it again, even for a dollar, because of the smell. Sort of dusty, like something you find in an attic.

Drying effect

Not too happy about this one, it has a slightly drying effect on my skin. Thought I'd check out an alternative product to Dr.Hauschka Facial Toner, but this is not the one.

Great way to try out Weleda's various body oils, finding one's own favourite. Nice gift, too.

Good product, awful jar.

I'm quite happy with the cleaser, but less content having to handle a fragile glass jar early in the morning. I wish they'd at least enclose a pump.

I had expected more from this tweezer, considering its price.

Not impressed

Unfortunately, I'm not too impressed. I have sensitive skin, as well as a sensitive scalp, but my face turns red after using this schampoo. So it does with a lot of conventional schmapoos, but I had higher expectations on this, as it claims to be intended for Special Care/Sensitive.

Not happy

I won't buy this one again, but then I actually hate leave-in-conditioners and wash them out immediately. On iHerb, I prefer the stuff from Beautiful curls.

Bathroom staple

Posted on Nov 19, 2012

A beauty therapist told me you can make do with jojoba and/or almond oil for most of your skin care needs, and I think she might have a point. I have been very satisfied with this and now regard it as a staple bathroom product. I use it on my body and sometimes on my scalp and hair, before washing. It's also a good carrier oil for essential oils.
