Doctor's Best Ginkgo
Posted by LadyShopper on Jun 26, 2008
I had been taking Ginkoba before this because it was the only brand - I'd tried at least 6 - that stopped my tinnitus. Apparently, Ginkoba changed their formulation when they were bought by another company (the pills smell and taste just awful now), so I switched to Doctor's Best. I am happy to report that this brand (DB) is every bit as effective as the prior one.

My husband had some problems with some awful gastric disturbances and constipation a couple of months ago. In spite of his using his usual remedies like metamucil, mineral oil, etc., nothing seemed to help much and the problems would recur. He's been taking the Enzymatic Therapy Pearls IC for a little more than a month now, and he's had no more problems with either the gastric disturbances or the constipation. Apparently this product works quite well. (It worked for him within a week).
Source Naturals Oregano Oil
I have used this many times over the years to stop a cold. I take 4 drops in an ounce of tomato (or other) juice, then wash it down with water or juice; that helps to get the strong taste out of my mouth. I take it 3 or 4 times a day depending on how I feel. Colds don't last more than 4 days around here. For minor skin irritations or minor infections, I apply to the affected area; it works within the day. I keep mine in the refrigerator because I don't use it every day and 1 bottle lasts a long time (2 years or so).
Twinlab fish oil epd/dha
Posted by LadyShopper on Nov 14, 2008
Twinlab is a dependable brand. The fish oil ratio for epd/dha isn't the same as the old Tri-Omega3 brand (which I thought was the best, and is no longer available), but it's close enough.
Hair No More

I've been using Hair No More for about a year, now. I have had much better results with this brand than with other cream hair removers. I've had no problems with skin rashes or outbreaks that other brands caused, yet it does the job effectively. I do take care to use it for the minimum time recommended.
i-Omega Premium Fish Oil
This is the best fish oil I have ever taken. I've tried many brands (my favorite used to be Tri-Omega3, before it was discontinued). This brand (i-Omega) has no fishy smell or taste at all, either before or after taking it.
Schiff calcium softgels
I have finally taken this long enough to say it does have a beneficial effect on my nail strength, so I assume it's also helping my bones. I like these softgels - they're a little easier for me to swallow than the tablets. Schiff has always been a dependable brand for me.
Source Naturals CoQ10
Posted by LadyShopper on Nov 14, 2008
I have found Source Naturals to be a dependable brand. The CoQ10 is good. These softgels are smaller than ones in other brands.
Alacer Emergen-C Heart Health
I wish this product were non-fizzy, but it is an excellent source of vitamin C and phytosterols. It's slightly gritty if you don't mix it well enough. The taste is ok if you like cherry.
Schiff Prime Years Once Daily
Posted by LadyShopper on Feb 12, 2013
These vitamins are ok, but I have had better. I tried them out because they are in the soft gel form, which I prefer. I now take One-a-Day which are tablets, but very good.
CoQ10 sublingual tablets
These sublinguals usually take about 45 minutes to dissolve. I would much rather just swallow a softgel - I don't notice a significant difference in effect between the two forms.
Nutritech multivitamin powder
I have tried mixing this vitamin powder with just about every reasonable liquid imaginable and I cannot get it to taste good in anything. Orange juice does seem to cover it up best, but I will not be ordering it again.
