I simply love chia seeds! They're good for me, contain omega and fiber. They're so small and versitile that I can put them in everything! I use them when I bake bread, crackers and granola bars for some extra fiber and energy. I always put ts in my morning smoothie or morning oatmeal. If you have problems with you digestion, try soaking a tbs of these in some water or apple juice for a few hours, and drink it all a few hours before you go to bed. Your body will send you its regards the next morning.
I really love this product! It's better than the rolled oats, because it makes oatmeal or bread much more chewier - which is a great plus for me. They're also less processed than the rolled, which does have an effect on your blood sugar levels. They're unfortunatly not a raw food, as most oats products is heated to get rid of the the outer shell. I soak these overnight before I use them - makes them much easier to cook or bake.
Good price, good salt
A great price of 18oz of himalayan salt. Easy to grind and it lasts for a long time. The package is really quite - not alot of extra plastics! I'm also very happy with the quality - it's just as good as many other brands, but half the price.
Great protein powder!

I just ran out of my usual protein powder, and decided to give this raw protein from Garden of Life a shot. Ordered it with chocolate flavor so that my husband could try it as as well. So far I'm VERY happy with the quality, the taste and the incredible boost this product gives me. After lifting heavy weights and living on a vegan diet, but without protein powder, my body didn't heal as fast as normal. Just two days after I started taking this together with my usual post-workout smoothie, I noticed that my muscles healed quicker and that I could lift heavier weights at the gym. The only negative I have to say is that I wish that there was chocolate flavor was even more chocolaty. I love cacao, so I add an extra tablespoon of pure cacao powder to my smoothies. My post-workout smoothie that really does the trick consist of 1/2 banana, 1/2 avocado, handful of fresh sprouts, handful of fresh spinach, 1 ts bee pollen, 1 ts flax seeds, 1 ts glutamine, 1 scoop Garden of Life protein powder, 1 tbs of cacao powder and two handful of frozen berries and 1/2 cup of rice milk or juice.
Green and grassy
This powder has the weirdest smell, it's almost like dried grass, and it is actually green as well. But! It tastes good! I use it in my porridge after I've been working out, it makes ordinary oatmeal creamy and yum! I've also used in for my post workout smoothies, and it helps my muscles to recover after lifting weights or just doing yoga. I've also used it to bake cracker and granola bars - so good!
Creamy and good
I use this in my daily porridge, together with some steel cut oats. It makes the porridge lovely and creamy, it's easy to cook and tastes really good. I soak them overnight and rinse them properly before cooking. They do not taste as bitter as many raw buckwheat products do. You can also use these for baking, both gluten free and with wheat, barley and rye.
I chose this oil 'cause the shipping weight is lower than Nutivas hemp oil, which again makes it just a little bit cheaper. I'm very happy with this oil, it's a big bottle and it has lasted quite a long time in the fridge. I use a spoonfull each day in my smoothies, as well as in my protein shakes, to drizzle over soups, make a salad dressing (try mustard+honey+hemp oil!), and it tastes great every time! Will choose this brand again, no doubt about it!
There really is a lot of pure wild rice in this packet! It's a little to must for my taste, because you have to cook it for a very, very long time, otherwise some of the rice is boiled perfect, while the wild rice still is partly raw. I think it works better in a stew or risotto, or in a cold salad, instead of serving it as a side dish.

When I opened this, I put my nose and smelled to check out the quality. I was a bit concerned at first, as it smelled really horrible. But I guess that's just the plastic bottle, because the pollen is just as good as other bee pollen products I've tried. I use this every day in my post-workout smoothie and I give one teaspoon to my husband. He's allergic to grass pollen. After he started taking this, his allergic reactions is reduced to a minimum. He takes it together with a fresh shot of ginger juice.
So manu uses
These lovely little hemp seeds are so versitile! I use this on top of my porridge or yogurt, in the summer time I sprinkle them on top of a salad. I've also used them to make hemp milk, and hemp butter. And I snack on them when I crave something 'extra' after a meal. They taste really good, a little bit nutty. Great quality from Manitoba Harvest!
Great quality bee pollen
This bee pollen have a great taste. When it comes to bee pollen, that's not always the case. But when bees are treated good and the bee pollen is harvested properly - it's really good for you. I use these in my smoothies (so good in a blueberry smoothie) and on top of yougurt, muesli, in granola bars or on top of my oatmeal. You can also mix these into a jar of raw honey, and make a powerful mixture to prevent the flu and pollen allergy. This small bottle is only 3,5oz, but mine lasted a very long time, until I started feeding my pollen allergic husband with this. His symptoms (red eyes, running nose, feeling tired and exhausted) went away, and this year he hasn't been bothered by the pollen in the air outside at all. He use a teaspoon every day, together with a shot of fresh ginger juice.
I've tried the steel cut oats from the same brand that aren't gluten free. And even though the amount of gluten that oat can contain, I prefer this one. I'm not sure why, but I think they're chewier and easier to cook. I always soak overnight, wheter I'm making oatmeal or baking bread.
