although i'm not using it in the traditional way for Ulcer or heartburn relief,it fulfill its purpose for me very well.i use it to ease the consumption of highly aromatic or acidic herbs on the stomach lining as well as softening its taste.for example,it works perfecly when i add 4 grams of Marshmallow Root together with 3 Grams of Vitex in a decoction, otherwise the vitex has too hot taste to consume in this amount, but this is the minimal dosage that affects my body.by the way Marshmallow makes any tea a gel like appearance so take it into consideration, for good or for bad...you are welcome to rate & read my other reviews

very useful product for loose tea lovers...

before i bought this one i used the inside of an old s.steel pitcher i had for brewing, but it was not as rigid and small mesh as this one is,which prevents most of the herb to leak into the cup.i use this everyday and looks like it will last forever, once a month steer a tbsp of citric acid inside a cup with hot water and put the brewer inside to clean all the residue on it....you are welcome to rate & read my other reviews

really wonderful tasty tea or ice tea,Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum aka Holy Basil) has calming effect for me and the taste of this brand is really amazing, though i prefer a blend of it with other herbs so here is a simple hot tea recipe thats good for calming & for your digestive ease: blend about 1.5gr of Tulsi (about a tsp) plus 1gr of whole(about 4 or 5 seeds) of Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum) plus 3-4gr of Rose hips(about 3),punch all the seeds and hips for the taste to come out of them and put all together in an infuser, put a jar of hot water and cover for 10 minutes.then blend it and push the taste out of the herbs into your Tea Extract.sweet to taste preferably with honey or agave....you are welcome to rate & read my other reviews .

immune system build up as well as soy isoflavone substitute!...

Posted on Oct 26, 2013

ok,first i was naive and believed every word that my doctors said so i took steroids & hormones for my hot flashes and fibromyalgia.than i noticed i was inflated in my face and started to gain unporportional weight so i understood something is wrong here.i turned to soy isoflavones for the hot flashes and that was perfect for me for a few years and the fibro was dealt with strenghteing herbs extracts as well as glucosamine and a good minerals and vitamins supplement.then i researched a little more and found out that soy derived isoflavone could be also damaging in some ways so i decided to try this product as it is safer to use and has far more health advantages than soy derived isoflavones extract.i take 4 capsules a day and no hot flashes at all for me....you are welcome to rate & read my other reviews

although i do not recommend using petroleum based ointment topically on your skin, still it is most useful as grease for delicate materials as rubber & plastics that regular grease tend to destroy...

Rehmannia is well underrated these days...

Posted on Oct 26, 2013

i am familiar with Rehmania as a tea and i can easily feel the rehabilitation in my adrenal & strength.it is not an adaptogen for me,more like a rehabilitation after a long day when there is still a couple of hours to with more than enough tasks,so Rehmannia gives me the power back in a calm way with no jitters at all. this product/formula is slow working and you need to give it a few weeks to feel the difference on a regular intake.a bit pricey but it works for you it is worth it...you are welcome to rate & read my other reviews

Perfect Balanced way to get your Cal/Mag daily dosage - in a tasty beverage like taste!...

Posted on Oct 26, 2013

5 people found the following review helpful

this product is my favorive way to get my Calcium & Magnesium besides a balanced meals which i find it hard to get to the minimum daily requirements.the dosages of most minerals are right on spot as far as i understand it with maybe the only downside of this product and this is the lack of the trace mineral Boron for a better absorption of Calcium.its taste reminds me of some fruit yogurt i loved when i was a kid.it is recommended to take Cal/Mag before bedtime & with B-complex,i only do the bedtime part as B-complex makes me too alert for this hours.i usually take 1 TBSP with a small piece of dried pineapple for even better taste and the Bromelain helps absorption somewhat.the rest of the daily CAL/Mag Needs i try to get from Poppy seeds,Moringa,Melcao and sesame seeds as they are all loaded with it. ...you are welcome to rate & read my other reviews

RECIPE INSIDE! Good value Organic, not the Best Type of Grapes...

Posted on Oct 26, 2013

5 people found the following review helpful

these are Good Raisins compared to your average supermarket type, there is NO SUGAR added which is Great and it is still very sweet and tasty.but like a Good wine, the type of Grapes and Origin is a crucial element in the product quality.these grapes are your average type that has been much better processed than other un-organic type, sun dried,no sugar etc....but i prefer the smaller & longer black mediterranean Uzbek or Ukraine type which comes with the small branch intact, but again i did enjoy this type as well.here's a great recipe i use this product every week:take 2 TBSP of coconut oil and melt it in a small cooking pot, take 2 cups of buckwheat together with half a cup of red/green/black/mixed lentils-sift & wash them.then throw it in the pot while mixing it and letting it all absorb the coconut oil.add water upto 1cm above the mixture and add about 1 TSP of Turmeric powder,a little Black pepper,Nutmeg & salt and mix again.wait 5-7 minutes and add Pumpkin seeds & Raisins on top and put it on the smallest flame you got for 20 minutes or so,check there is enough water till the end of the process and blend the mixture from time to time.Thats it!!!a balanced & tasty meal...you are welcome to rate & read my other reviews

not effective as i expected...

Posted on Oct 26, 2013

after trying the Cordyceps mushroom from this same company which i find as a very useful product i decided to try this product for its known mental alertness, memory & concentration improvement, but unfortunately this product did not deliver what i expected at all.to be honest i have no experience with this type of mushroom to this date and this product is the first time i try it,so it might be that its just one of those herbs/plants that is ineffective on my body, for instance,i tried several Reishi(Ganoderma) products including Raw mushroom as well as strong extracts and none of them effected me whatsoever so it is possible that my body isn't reacting to Lion's Mane in general, but i did doubled the dosage to 3700mg just to be sure and it still was ineffective.on the positive side-it smells and tastes like food ,not medicinal flavor at all-very natural to my impression,i will stick with Ginkgo biloba & Amla(Phyllanthus emblica/Indian Gooseberry/Amalaki) for mental alertness which i find both to be very effective on my body...you are welcome to rate & read my other reviews
