Plumps out lines from the inside out
Posted by PurplePegasus on Jun 12, 2013
I gave a better review for this when I bought the 60 caps and it made my top reviews at the time. No more need for creams: this stuff plumps out lines and depressions from the inside out. I heard some doctor on TV say that babies "have a ton of hyaluronic acid" except they were hawking some HA creams. Well, I've tried HA on my face & it does not help. But this right here is amazing! I hope it never sells out.
still the very best rhodiola on the market

I take this when I am stressed, whenever pressed for time, and it completely takes my aggression away and calms me down. I also take it before bed, and it is very relaxing. I take two at a time because that works best for me. I like that it is wildcrafted. Although the company ought to make that more clear on the front of the label because it is hard enough to find a product that is organic or not sprayed with pesticides. Liquid caps work fast. No side effects ever with rhodiola rosea.
Sweet, fruity and mild
Posted by PurplePegasus on Jul 12, 2013
Taste is pretty good, fragrant and fruity. I only let mine steep 2 min but later read the box and say to steep 5-10 min or longer for decoction so I will try and see if the stronger tea tastes better without bitterness. Will probably save this for the winter to prevent flu as it's really rich in vitamin C. There's a disclaimer sticker on it about stained tea bags due to tea coloring (red when you press it, yellow in the cup) but my tea bags were their regular off-white color as usual.
Generously filled bags, high silica content but the main wrapper bag's lining might contain BPA.

The tea bags do not have any string or staple, they are to be fished out with a wooden spoon. They come in an opaque, sealed brown bag which is unfortunately lined with foil and that foil appears to be lined with plastic. My concern here is BPA touching my organic tea. (Soft plastics typically are high in BPA, which gives them their malleability, and that's also what they line some tin cans with to protect from heavy metal aluminum but at which price!?? BPA is high in xenoestrogens and needs to be avoided by people with estrogen dominance and liver disease such as myself). Why when this tea is organic and the bags are oyxgen bleached? I do not understand this, brown paper on both sides would have sufficed. For this packaging aberration, I remove one star and, because of this, will probably purchase the other organic brand next time, which was out of stock when I placed my order. The tea itself is excellent and would deserve 5 stars; it's very sweet, and can be steeped longer than 5 minutes without bitterness. I like to mix my teas and this lends itself well to blending with anything from white tea to oregano oil. Please note that the bags are pillowy as they are generously filled. Such a pity about that lining. The tea is a strong diuretic but I purchased it for the herb's high content in mineral silica and its benefits. I am at the moment dealing with cavities issues and hoping this, along with the rest of the supplements I got, will help regrow enamel but I do not know if that's possible, even though some people claim results elsewhere, time will tell. In the interim, I believe this is pretty healthy and delicious tea.
Great price and non-GMO

However removing one star because it does come from soybeans, and according to GM Watch & the GMO Journal, all soybeans, even organic, now test positive for the BT toxin, courtesy of cross-contamination. Why doesn't MRM just use only palm oil or simply source it from olives, avocados or eggs? From the MRM website: "We source only naturally occurring Vitamin E forms from Non-GMO vegetable sources." However this is much cheaper than Grace brand which also uses GMO soybeans, and then make the silly safety claims about purification. See what I left on the e-Gems Carlson Labs lip balm for explanation. Room for improvement here but the better E I have found here.
Malt extract = MSG? Is this GMO? Not organic. Contains yeast.

I got a free one of these and liked it so much I decided to buy another. The concept of fermented whole food vitamins is supposed to be good for you. Unfortunately it doesn't relieve the overwhelming adrenal exhaustion. It does taste really really good, kinda meaty & sweet with an alcohol "kick" I like. But: google "hidden sources of MSG" and malt extract is one of them. On top of that this is not organic and I'm wondering if anything is GMO like the malt which is probably corn derived and most worldwide corn is GMO. (USA provide a lot of corn for Europe & this is made in Switzerland). Sacchromyces Cervisiae (sp?) is yeast, plain and simple. Bottom line: a lot of questions I hadn't thought about when I ordered this trusting it was GMO-free, corn-free and organic. Apparently it's neither. And this is spooky. I should give 1 star but I need to research this further. And so should you because GMO's cause Morgellons. (You tube has some spooky videos)
Too salty for me
Posted by PurplePegasus on Jul 21, 2011
Having adrenal failure I need a lot of salt, which I crave and love. I routinely snack on pure sea salt, salt my food profusely and my water is often laced with baking soda. I love the other 2 MCSV products I've tried. However this salt is way too salty for even me. I much prefer their kelp granules. Please note that this container is extremely small! When I purchased the same sized kelp, I expected the big one. It's small as a salt shaker. Finally I had trouble with the opening and the plastic got shreded in the process. (Pressing the tab would not do anything so I had to get a sharp knife and cut it). Not looking forward to eating potentially toxic plastic shreds (aka xenoestrogens from BPA?)
Work well at first

But in the end, no as good as claimed on the Dr. Oz show. I don't think my results with these were consistent in spite of 4 bottles. I use other supplements for weight loss that give incredible results within 1 week, saw a remarkable change in my body for the best and effortless, no exercise weight loss has been consistent ever since. Everyone is different so other people might get better results with these than my stuff.
Awfully bitter with zero orange taste, ARRIVED CRUSHED DUE TO NO BUBBLE WRAP!
Posted by PurplePegasus on Dec 20, 2013
This chocolate tastes really terrible! There is NO orange taste whatsoever and it's very bitter. But even worse than that: this chocolate arrived completely crushed once again. This one not only had chocolate powder and bits flying all over the place when I opened it, the whole entire bar was crushed in small pieces which makes me wonder how could this have occurred during shipping as I had no cans in this shipment. Very frustrating.
Too greasy, strong rose odor, gave me acne
Posted by PurplePegasus on Sep 26, 2009
I have very dry skin. I love Aubrey Organics so tried this. Sorry to say but this was a terrible experience: first off it's way too greasy; it left my skin very oily for hours on end. I also broke out both times I gave this cream a try. The strong odor of rose is categorically unbearable: I have MCS and I'm usually fine with natural scents but this rose scent is overpowering and won't let up. I also tried this as under eye cream and it gave me milia break outs right away. I'll stick with Weleda's Skin Food which I buy from iHerb and it's fine, rich but not greasy, and a very light scent.
Has a strong floral odor, I threw it out! NOT unscented!
Posted by PurplePegasus on Sep 26, 2009
I actually had to get out of the shower dripping to find another soap! I use their liquid unscented without problems but this one reeks of jasmine and roses, it NOT unscented at all; it was such a terrible experience as I have MCS and highly allergic to such scents. I threw it out, I couldn't breathe and it was giving me a migraine, what a waste! Like the reviewer from Hong Kong wrote, it has a chemical "industrial" scent to it. Very strange!
Promotes fat loss fast

L-Carnitine is a top of the line amino-like product which works fast to melt body fat, however a minimum of exercise is required for this to work, whether it be walking fast or simply lifting heavy stuff around the house. I also take this for circulation problems, particularly to the brain and arms. I went from 500mg a day to 2g (from 1 pill to 4 per day) and I see better results all-around at 4 pills per day. Always safest to start slow to gauge results and potential reactions. No side effects for me at either dosage. Thanks to this and several other amino acids, I now have muscle tone again after medical steroid treatment catabolized my muscle tissue everywhere. Always take on empty stomach. This a very good brand.
