Great for skin tags
Posted by QuibbleMoth on Dec 16, 2010
I used to have the same skin tags reappear under my arm but a week of this salve went to the root and they never came back. I've been skin-tag free for over 3 years. It's no hype when they say it goes deep into the tissue. I even feel calmer - probably since Goldenseal is somewhat calming when I take it orally. It also worked on a small discolored patch on my nose (too much sun and getting old) It took longer, but this salve removed it and now there's completely normal skin in its place. I was amazed. I now use it on any skin condition, even bug bites. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Many of the herbs in this product are "cooling" and diuretic. I was pleased to find a formula with herbs like yellow dock, burdock, red clover, and dandelion - all recommended to me. Nettle, alone, is great for allergies and skin. There's more to this mix than just burdock and red clover. These herbs sound common but I've used every one by itself with benefit. I use this formula in place of a diuretic tea and find it calming overall, in a subtle way. No unwelcome side effects for me.
Cholesterol Numbers Improved
Posted by QuibbleMoth on May 24, 2014
In 3 months my overall number went from 198 to 147, LDL from 142 to 82! I exercised and ate a healthy diet but I had been doing that before with minimal results. I took one or two caps before every meal and snack - I wasn't shy about loading up even more if I over-ate.
Gentle and Works

My liver panel is normal after years of periodic alcohol abuse. Before I started taking this product about six years ago, my liver panel was always abnormal. This formula doesn't upset the stomach like other milk thistle products but 2 or 3 caps at once will sometimes make me jittery. Still trying to quit drinking but plan to continue taking Silymarin.
Better Lab Results

I had a 120 fasting glucose reading and was told I was prediabetic. I was given 3 months to bring it down. Along with diet and exercise I took GlucoCare (1-2 caps per day) and my next reading was 91. I'm amazed.

I noticed a sense of well being, a lightness, and clarity of mind. Not sure why I bought it but it's a great anti-depressant.

I've taken it on an empty stomach and with food and the result is the same: upset stomach later, sometimes the next day. Add to that cold sweats, queasiness, and fitful sleep. At first I wasn't sure it was the serrapeptase but again and again it only happens after I take it. I've tried 1-4 caps at a time but as little as one cap causes these symptoms. This morning I took one cap along with nattokinese (which I've taken for over a year so I can exclude that) and was back in bed for a fitful nap that lasted 4 hours. I was abnormally tired and my stomach hurt. In fact, I've taken more anti-acid stomach remedies in the last month of use than in the previous year. Stranger yet, a few days ago after taking this, my stomach hurt well into the next day until I had a bowel movement. After that, it was like the clouds lifted and the clammy, queasy feeling and upset stomach vanished. So it seemed to have this effect well down the digestive tract. I bought this to replace ibuprofen and thought it might help with overall health as reported in the many glowing reviews. I haven't experienced less pain or any noticable benefits. Yet I'm willing to say the jury is out and the negative symptoms, a "healing crisis" if something positive happens. I'm still trying to be optimistic. I'll amend this review if I notice postive results or find a way to take it without the upset. I'm a healthnut with a strong stomach who's popped a lot of supplements and rarely have digestive problems like this.
May cause Acid Reflux

I wanted to like this Natural Factors supplement and tried it several times over a month. At a minimum I would start burping up pepperment and menthol within a half hour, (forget the enteric coating) at worse, I'd have serious acid reflux for a couple days, whereas normally I go years between mild flare-ups. I thought it would help with bloating and gas but it didn't do much in that department either. I've experimented with supplements for years and can usually handle anything. I was also surprised at how heating this is - I'd lay awake several hours later sweating, my heart pounding. I could feel the heat throughout my body. After another round of expensive otc acid reflux remedies, I finally threw the rest of it out. I'll look elsewhere if I want the heebie jeebies.

I had read a study that Siberian Ginseng may be effective against viruses like colds and flu so I started taking this extract 2-3 caps per day. It became part of my daily supplement regimen and I forgot about why I even took it. But then after winter came and went without any colds or flu, not even a hint of bronchitis that had plagued me in the past, I realized the only thing different in my life was this supplement. I used to get sick every time the grandkids or anyone near me got sick. Bronchitis became a chronic thing. Now I might get the sniffles, sneezing, or a mild sore throat for a few hours and then the symptoms disappear. I kept telling friends and family, "I think I'm finally coming down with whatever you guys got" yet it never materialized. None of the usual winter bugs and ailments were able to take hold.
Clear Head, Less Depressed

I take lots of supplements so its hard to know sometimes which one is doing what but this one stood out. Many times, my depression would lift and I realized I had taken a couple of these caps earlier in the day.
Good Burn, no Stomach Upset

I was pleasantly surprised that this niacin doesn't cause even a hint of stomach distress. Sometimes I feel the flush just minutes after taking, so I know it's working. Other times I feel a little flush hours later. Only side effect is blurry vision which isn't an issue if taken at night.

I noticed an immediate sense of relief and calm. I've been able to cut back on anxiety medications. This is the best magnesium supplement I've taken yet. Citrate seems to be the most assimliable, fast-acting, form of Mg.
