High sugar, taste isnt great as expected

Posted on May 30, 2011

This gave me sugar crash after intake (of course, its sugar laden). I ve taken other types of local brand sweetened ginger, and this (made in thailand batch) , in terms of taste, isnt better, and the sugar amt is staggering, I cant believe they stuff this with that much sugar, its so laden with sugars that you see a lof of sugar crystals "raining" the packet contents. Not buying this anymore.. I gave it to my office colleagues (after warning them of the sugar).. cause the sugar crash feeling is signalling me that its not a good thing, and not a "healthy" food Im afraid.

Potent..why iHerb hasnt got 4oz and 8oz sizes?

Dilute this with a little plain water and squish in below tongue for abt a minute or so, for a sublingual effexct.. prior to drinking it. Somehow it feels this is unclogging sth at the upperbackside within a short period of time. other stone breaker formula inc liquid or tabs doesnt seem to give such feeling.

False labelling

Posted on Nov 22, 2014

2 people found the following review helpful

Iherb website stated this item has 38 mg antocyanin and 4 mg flavonoids..but when item arrived, the actual label on the bottle did not have such "standardized" quantities.. Its very misleading and iherb did not respond to my complaint, neither correct such misleading label

Caution for males -- this increases adrenal Progesterone synthesis

Posted on Oct 02, 2011

3 people found the following review helpful

The tiny capsule does seems to increase energy and slight body wt reduction (~10day use/1 per day), but it should have a note on the bottle that Forskolin increases Progesterone synthesis. Progesterone has a bad side effect on male libido. Andersen ML, Tufik S. Brain Res Rev. 2006;51(1):136-43

Healthy Origins Probiotic 30Bil CFU..hygroscopic

Posted on Jun 14, 2010

This supposedly "no refrigeration" needed item is hygroscopic. The capsule content will progressively become tainted with dots of chocolate colored blemishes if you keep it at room temperature. Perhaps where I live is rather humid environment.

Ok, larger size 16fl oz?

Posted on Nov 14, 2016

Iherb dont carry the 16fl oz. size? Another major site has that at $16.99. There should be an option - I dont like the pump configuration, prefer squeeze type so I can control the volume squirted out.

Co-E1, mojo Plus + Enada 20mg

Posted on May 18, 2010

I have symptoms similar to CFS which seems to have been helped by Rhodiola. Only in few instances during the day, I do feel a bit more tired , so I thought in any one of those occasional moments, if I feel sleepy/fatigue, this might possibly help me. Unfortunately, it did nothing at all. Used it afew times. Would have given zero star if possible. Waste of money. For energy boost, my preliminary evaluation of Umac-Core Marine phytoplankton (2ml free sample) seems to give quite a good boost.

It has tartaric acid and tastes yuckie

Posted on May 02, 2011

I dont like the taste (overtly artificial taste) when compared to Ionic Fizz Magnesium or Peter Gillham's Calm Mag. Also, I cant feel the Mag effect cf. to Ionic/Peter Gillham's brand, which are better IMO. I thought some articles stated Tartaric acid is bad for those with Yeast issue/may be toxic for muscles. So, such ingredient may not be preferred for some ppl concerned with yeast.

NOT safe for color treated hair

Posted on Aug 08, 2016

This shampoo does not seem to have olive oil or oils that are said to be unsafe for color treated hair. Jojoba, contrary to olive oil, is known to be safe for color treated hair. However, my first use of this shampoo tells it all - it is NOT safe for color treated hair. When I rinse my hair, the dye was obviously leaching out (murky water). Waste of my money, I have to either trash this shampoo or give it to others who may be able to use it.
