I found that the product "kicks in" quicker than capsules when allowed to dissolve for a couple of minutes under the tongue before swallowing. Take with a B-50 complex and a small amount of starchy food, like a cracker--and get a great night's sleep! --Christine from Oregon

Fine Tuning the Brain

The only bio-available magnesium that crosses the blood/brain barrier is flying off national shelves for a good reason! Even as FDA and others race to patent yet another deleterious drug, we are reclaiming our power to heal with supplemental gems like this shiny, new star! I'm close to one who's slowly getting off psych meds and restoring his natural mental/emotional balance--magnesium threonate being a superstar in the constellation of supplements recommended by 3 top holistic physicians. That said--and I am also experiencing greater clarity and calm, btw--don't experiment on your own with replacements if you are taking prescribed medication. Discuss with your naturopath and make a plan for gradual transition and stick to it.

I've noticed an amazing difference in my boyfriend's ability to focus--he's bipolar II and it's helped his mood disorder immensely. I've noticed a difference in clarity and less fatigue at the end of the day, with 2 tsp. doses, AM & PM. I tried a tbsp. in the morning, but it was too much and made me nauseous. No fishy taste--great orange taste added to my morning protein smoothie! I'll be interested to note long term benefits....check back in a few months! --Christine from Oregon
