Would make a great gift - very pleasant smell and lovely body feel

Posted on Feb 25, 2015

I have a large whirlpool style bath for 2 and I love this. Non greasy on the bath but definitely creamy/moisturising feeling when you are in the bath. A lighter scent but very pleasant, kind of fresh and mellow at the same time. Really is a quality product but 4 stars because of the price as it really only does about 4 - 5 serves out of a large bottle.

Cant say whether it shortens duration as I have always taken it with other stuff but I like it

Posted on Feb 20, 2015

This is great tasting - just like a cherry drop. Cant imagine anyone not liking the taste. Secondly whilst I am unsure whether it shortens the duration of the cold but what I love about it is that it gives you a near instant 15 - 30 minute pick me up. A pick me up that outweighs any other natural product I have tried and any OTC's as well. But note it is short acting. But hey you get to have it 5 times daily so its not that bad.

Lovely smell but too weak for an oil burner unless you use a lot

Posted on Feb 12, 2015

Probably great for massage but when you heat it in the electric diffuser, the smell goes quickly and you need to clean up the puddle of jojoba oil that is left behind. I do wish AC would say what % their in jojoba oil products are.

Gag - a - licious!!!!

Posted on Jan 29, 2015

I love Nubian heritage but the smell of this makes me want to hurl. Seriously, it has Soya Milk in it and it smells like a sickly baby vomit with a hint of sweet perfume. I am not very fussy about smells but this is so bad I am binning it. If you can get past the smell, it comes out in a wonderful buttery creamy blob which feels wonderful. It doesn't sink in straight away. I have very dry skin and I had to liberally apply it three days in a row before I started to see the benefits of smooth and soft skin. It does tend to be a little greasy after application. I think it probably works well with every day application but I cant get past the smell.

Maybe not for blepharitis with dry eye

Posted on Jan 07, 2015

I was desperately looking for a substitute for Oculoheel/ Clearlife which iherb has discontinued. It is the only thing I have had(including OTC) that has ever given me substantive relief from blepharitis. Boiron was well priced and well regarded so I had high hopes it might work for me but no go. Unlike Oculoheel there was no immediate soothing effect and as for dry eye, it made my eyes feel gooey and like they were impervious to moisture - maybe emulating some of those dry eye gels you get which you leave in overnight. If Blepharitis is your problem and you want to buy something here, I'd recommend Similasan dry eye relief. Its not as good as Oculoheel but used in tandem with an OTC wetting type tears drop you will still get a fair bit of relief.

Big Yuck from me!

Posted on Dec 17, 2014

I have very dry skin but find that heavy creams like this just slough off like lots of dead skin. And no it is not dead skin, this cream makes this happen every time I use it even when I do it twice a day. Also be aware it has a strong Ester scent (like the bananary tropical fruity scent you get in chem class at school). You may like it but I find it really cloying. I am giving it 2 stars because I gave it to my 9 yo and she had skin like silk the next day.

Very ood sugar substitute for non and diabetic consumers

Posted on Oct 29, 2014

I have IBS - particularly affected by sugars and I am a diabetic. This has a negligible effect on blood sugar and does not kick the IBS into gear. I was really sure it was going to. Best thing - no after taste like stevia and erithyritol and not a chemical like splenda. Granular so great for baking on a 1 to 1.1 ratio. Also is a prebiotic so good for stomach bacteria and immune health. Would probably be good for those with candida who have to forego sugar.

Great quality conditioning oil!!

Posted on Sep 16, 2014

Smells good and makes hair silky and smooth. Helps a lot with my super frizzy medication ruined straight hair. HOWEVER A TINY BIT GOES A LONG WAY. It is very easy to overdo it. Put a little on, comb through and give it 5 - 10 minutes to soak in and then add more as needed only where needed. Your hair will look oily if you throw 3 handfuls on one after the other!! Which is what I do with my $30 Redken product. This is so much better but you need much less. And its natural ...

If you are diabetic - do yourself a favour and buy this!

Posted on Sep 16, 2014

I have no idea how healthy this product is - it does seems to have lots of weird and wonderful things in it. After months of studious low carbing and making the most inedible low carb baking known to man, I succumbed and brought this. I am so glad I did. I felt like I was eating a bona fide confectionary treat. A little like a Mars bar but not quite and a little bit smaller too but not bite sized bars as I expected. I have horrendous morning sugars no matter how low carb I eat so breakfast is always coffee and bacon and eggs or sausages or cheese. Or just coffee. I hate that stuff for breakfast! So today I tried coffee and the above and blood sugar didn't really climb any different to the usual breakfast and whilst not the most filling, it has kept me going for 2.5 hours which is maybe an hour short of bacon and eggs.

Fantastic conditioner!!

Posted on Sep 11, 2014

I brought this because it was cheap and on special. Usually I use Aubrey Organics Glycogen Conditioner. This works different to that but it absorbs into my hair like nothing else and I have never had my hair come out so soft before. My hair is really screwed up due to medication so I found this did little for my 1000% frizz but it smells lovely and really conditions the hair. I will alternate it with the Glycogen conditioner to get best results.

Pleasantly surprised

Well my hair is weird. Started taking Carbimazole for over active thyroid. My thick strong straight hair fell out and was replaced by thin, stretchy, incredibly frizzy, super fast growing hair. Since then I have been searching to find anything that will keep it under control. Due to the extreme frizz, I now wash my hair only twice a week. Each time I steep it in a heavy conditioner (I love Shea Butter or Glycogen ones) and wash out thoroughly. Despite this that very day (without hot air drying) my hair will be a million frizzy wisps. I do use Moroccan oil (2 - 3 times daily) to calm the wisps but it can get very greasy especially nearer the scalp. So I gave this a try. I now find it is the third piece of the puzzle but you must, must brush it through after using. I have to use it everyday and thus it is used up quickly. It has quite a strong lemonish smell but it does leave my already conditioned hair, soft and smoother although some Morroccan Oil is still needed to keep the wisps down. If you spray it on and don't brush it through, it can get a it hard or crusty feeling. So brush it through when wet and/or dry. Using everyday on top of primary conditioner, my hair is lovely and soft and the wispies are a bit better.

5 stars for smell alone!

Posted on Aug 04, 2014

There is an incredibly expensive soap out there called Savon de Marseilles extra pur. If you can ever afford it - it is amazing. This is a bit of a poor relation but it has a similar unique scent, a touch of lemon with olive and a hint of flowers. However it is a tenth of the price of the traditional product! I am not the biggest fan of South of France soaps but I will buy this again and again for the fragrance alone. And as someone has already said, it lathers very well and lasts quite a while.
