Not bad value for money - cheaper than in the supermarket

Posted on Aug 17, 2011

My complaint about this is that it is quite a coarse grind. This is about twice the grind size of stuff sold in our local supermarket so when you are a diabetic like me and only use substitute flours, this is less optimal for baking (baked goods are noticeably grainy)

Didnt work all that well

I have had unexplained bad sinuses and post nasal drip for years and had really hoped this would make a difference. I have only been using it for 2 weeks and there probably has been some effect but it is marginal. Too early to say whether it has a protective effect over colds and sinus infections.

Love the scent but mixed review!

I sweat a lot and my perspiration smells reasonably strong. If I shower twice a day and apply this 2 - 3 times a day it works but otherwise it is not strong enough. Having said that it is a great masculine spicey, hoppy smell which both my husband and I like a lot. He doesnt have a perspiration problem and finds it works well applied once a day, after a daily shower. So no good if you need a very strong antiperspirant/deodorant but great if you are normal and want a very pleasant natural product.

Probably works but dont use if any hint of seizures!!

My son has ADHD and has recently had a few seizures whilst playing computer games. After investigation they concluded that being on ritalin has lowered his threshold for having seizures although he is probably not an epileptic per se. he hadnt had any for a while so i forgot about them. I thought I'd give him this to help with his concentration and within 12 hours he had a seizure without any obvious reason/stimulus. Have discontined the Mindcare and no repeat so far. I was probably dumb not to realise the implications beforehand. Having said all that, my husband had a heavy dose of chemo a few years back and ever since has sufferred from brain fuzz and poor memory. He has been taking mindcare and says he notices a definite sharpening of his cognitive processing a few hours after taking it.

Maybe too early to tell

I bought this as I have chronic blepharitis and my eyes are always very sore. It seems to have had no effect on the sore eyes but it just may have helped my eyesight although I think its probably too early to tell.

Smells lovely

I dont know yet whether it helps with the keratosis/rough skin yet as it is too soon to say but it certainly feels nice. I have tried many of the soaps on iherb and have yet to come across a bad one from Nubian Heritage. The scents are always lovely but not too strong, lather good but not excessive all in a nice bigger bar.

Nice - not hot but tangible flavour!

Posted on Apr 09, 2013

I am pleased to have found these. For about the same price including shipping - I can buy these locally. Except the local fare is bland and not organic. This has mild spice (kids love it), great flavour and is organic - its a no brainer!!

Lovely sweet tart flavour reminiscent of old fashioned cherry drops!

Posted on Jun 05, 2013

If like me you grew up sucking on cherry drops but want a healthier alternative or in our case, haven't seen them sold in a while, these are a great substitute. My favourite of the five fruit flavours I have tried in this range.

I was sceptical at first but now it is on my auto buy list!

Its quite thick and my first impression was that it was a little drying but that really isn't the case. Because its thick, a little goes a long way and my fears about it being drying weren't born out. I am using another big name iherb brand just now and it is noticeably more drying than this. Best of all is the lovely fresh, soft citrus scent and its great price for something that lasts a good while.

Fantastic conditioner!!

Posted on Sep 11, 2014

I brought this because it was cheap and on special. Usually I use Aubrey Organics Glycogen Conditioner. This works different to that but it absorbs into my hair like nothing else and I have never had my hair come out so soft before. My hair is really screwed up due to medication so I found this did little for my 1000% frizz but it smells lovely and really conditions the hair. I will alternate it with the Glycogen conditioner to get best results.

If you are diabetic - do yourself a favour and buy this!

Posted on Sep 16, 2014

I have no idea how healthy this product is - it does seems to have lots of weird and wonderful things in it. After months of studious low carbing and making the most inedible low carb baking known to man, I succumbed and brought this. I am so glad I did. I felt like I was eating a bona fide confectionary treat. A little like a Mars bar but not quite and a little bit smaller too but not bite sized bars as I expected. I have horrendous morning sugars no matter how low carb I eat so breakfast is always coffee and bacon and eggs or sausages or cheese. Or just coffee. I hate that stuff for breakfast! So today I tried coffee and the above and blood sugar didn't really climb any different to the usual breakfast and whilst not the most filling, it has kept me going for 2.5 hours which is maybe an hour short of bacon and eggs.
