Don't expect the almond fragrance to remain; "baby powder" takes over

Almond is the first note, but it rapidly dissipates and is followed by a pervasive "baby powder" scent. Otherwise the lotion performs nicely, but I won't repurchase.
I don't like smelling like a candle

I love shea butter, but I'm removing 2 stars on account of the strong, artificial-smelling scent. I use therapeutic-quality essential oils, and so I've learned to be very particular what I put on my skin. This product is probably going to end up in the garbage, and I'll stick with the pure Now Foods shea butter that I've been using. Nubian Heritage has a great idea, but it appears they have chosen to use cosmetic-grade essential oils to "perfume" this product.

Sounded like a good product but disgustingly rancid.
