L-Tyrosine really helped my brain, Jarrow best I know of.

At the recommendation of a holisticly inclined physician, I started taking this product along with P-5-P to help my brain recover normal function after years of damage due to Lyme disease. Aggressive treatment had stopped the disease, and I had regained a great deal of function. But the brain takes a long time to heal, and I particularly had trouble with processing incoming sensory data and in initiating response. To my surprise, L-Tyrosine turned that around. I wasn't sure at first, as I started a couple of other things at the same time. But when I stopped for a week or so, I really noticed the difference. Started up again, and immediately noticed the difference. My mood improved as well. If you are dealing with brain issues due to Lyme disease, your needs may differ as this disease affects everyone somewhat differently, especially when it comes to the brain. But for me, this sure helped.
Reliable, good value

I started taking silymarin 2 decades ago to protect my liver because of medicines prescribed for a variously diagnosed chronic illness. Six years ago my "mystery illness" was finally diagnosed as chronic Lyme disease, along with a couple other tick-borne diseases. Periodically since then I have been on intensive antibiotic regimens to control the infection (and a new one acquired last year). Because I take silymarin consistently, in all that time I have had only one "out-of-range" liver panel-- and that was due to an antibiotic (Ketek) that was subsequently pulled from the market because so many people were effected this way. Jarrow products are consistently highly rated in tests for reliability and consistency. You know if Jarrow says a certain amount of something is present, it is. Though other products claim a larger % of silymarin, I trust Jarrow.
Best I've used and at reasonable price

I have long-standing chronic Lyme disease, which has responded well to treatment. In remission, I manage with herbals. But occasionally I have relapses, requiring me to go on a regimen of potent antibiotics for several months. When that happens, it is critically important for me to take a very effective probiotic several times a day to replenish the gut flora killed by the antibiotics. Floramore is the most effective AND the most reliable I've used. (And I've used quite a few different formulations.) I get the 12 billion formulation, and the price makes taking frequently less of a strain on my finances, too.
best I've found

I've been taking allicin extract for years on advice of dr. This is excellent product at best price I've seen.
Brush ok, but handle is not.

Brush is ok-- I wanted a shorter handle and a gentle bristle. However, the "ergomic" plastic handle has an unpleasant chemical odor, almost skunklike. Nor do I find the handle particularly comfortable (it has a tendency to slip apart). I am either going return it or discard it, and look for a brush with an all-wood one-piece handle.
