My favorite from this company. The lovely genuine rose scent is intoxicating but you have to like ROSES. If you don't this will be a mistake. I love it, reminds me of my Great Aunts bath. It's a good soap overall and good value but the mud and plain scent are best for those with extreme allergy issues as they are not attractive daily use soaps.

Essential

Keep it on hand and in the fridge. A product I have used for over a decade. Every winter the Sambucol or Sambucol sub (this one) comes out as soon as colds or flus show any symptoms. If you hit the symptoms with this early and steady as the bottle directs you will find your cold and flu season to be far less difficult. I also use it for general body aches and pains and weakness occasionally and it is good for that in aging persons. Can be used safely with children and nursing/pg. mothers despite the warning label. It helped my very pg DIL recover overnight from a puking flu in less than 24 hours that really knocked her down fast.

Buyt ir For Hubby

Posted on Jan 31, 2011

As a person with very high cholesterol hubby uses this with and without taking his statin drug. He seems to never want to run out so I assume its giving him more energy and more confidence. Cholesterol ratings may be hogwash but if you are taking statins, you had BETTER take at least 2-300 mg of CoQ10 as statins rob the body of this heart essential nutrient.

Favorite Shampoo

I like Giovannis 50/50 and mint scented cleansing shampoo very well but this one beats them by a long shot. It has a somewhat earthy scent but minty enough to not be annoying. Really cleanses well, doesn't build up on the scalp and rinses out nicely. Good shampoo for fine hair.

Very Good and Effective

Minty herbal flavor that lasts awhile, seems effective to kill germs and freshen breath. Stays fresh to the bottom weeks later.

Nice Alternative

Good alternative to bottled liquid soaps. Works as well once you get the hang of lathering the bar directly into your hair rather than in your hands. Great for travel. Is somewhat drying to the scalp as it leaves hair a crisp clean with no conditioning properties.

Chewable Amino's

Very good product if you remember to chew them with lots of liquids. Leaves a sticky texture in the teeth which is annoying. Works very well if used consistently for depression or low serotonin states. Probably would be better in a liquid form.

Seems OK

I gave this to my mom and sister, sister is a celiac, to try. She says it seems ok. I tried dumping a cap or two out and tasted it and its very hard and grainy. I don't think it will dissolve well and that is just my opinion. I won't be using this one myself as I don't think its any better tahn any other calcium mix out there in the same class.

So So

Not a miracle cure for pain. Don't like the fact this uses wheat germ oil either as its questionable for those with wheat/gluten issues. I think it has its place but I am not sure what that is. It seems soothing and the smell is not horrible although not pleasant either. Probably very good for chapped body areas. Maybe in long term use this would prove very useful...dunno.

Gave it to Hubby

For his bad joint and lower back pain. He said the MSM cream was more effective for immediate results. Perhaps with long term consistent use this product would be very good. Hubby won't take anything consistently unless he gets the miracle result the first time. (And then half the time there is no sustained result later when he tries things again.)There must a particular application for this product but it won't be for immediate relief.

Bitter and Gave Me Acid

Very bitter tasting but gave me a very acid stomach each time I tried it. Decided not to use it. I think it may be the calcium form in it is too acidic for my stomach.

After I saw the form it came in I realized it was the same type I tried before that tasted horrible and gave me indigestion.
