My Reviews

Yes! A Great Domestic Olive Oil

Posted by Reviewer2199321 on Aug 09, 2011

This olive oil is milder and more fruity than the Italian oils I have used. I tried drinking a tablespoonful and it did not burn my throat. I am pleased to have this choice. The price is competetive. The desirability and health benefits of this olive oil are worth the cost.

For My Smoothies

Posted by Reviewer2199321 on Aug 09, 2011

Acai berry powder enriches my smoothies with the dark pigment of the berries. The powder is another means of expanding my diet to increase variety.

Good Snack Food

Posted by Reviewer2199321 on Aug 09, 2011

These berries are not as tasty as the dried ones I have been buying at iherb. They are softer, so they are easier to chew. They are a low-calorie, nutritious snack.

Mild Flavor

Posted by Reviewer2199321 on Oct 14, 2011

These sardines do not have a strong flavor. They are tender and pleasant. I find them a great snack with crackers when on the run. I prefer wild sardines for superior flavor and nutritional value. They are a good source of omega-3 fatty acids and calcium.

Expand Your Smoothie

Posted by Reviewer2199321 on Feb 24, 2008

For variety and a surprise flavor when added to drinks acai powder is a good option. I like it mixed with soy milk. I am impressed with the fruit's antioxidant content. A little goes a long way so it makes a cost effective alternative to frozen blueberries. It is convenient to use in drinks when on vacation.

Neat Little Pot

Posted by Reviewer2199321 on Feb 24, 2008

This cute pot makes my occasional need for a sinus irrigation an easy process. I say "Yes" to the neti to reduce my occasional use of antihistamines for hay fever.

Nice Concentrate

Posted by Reviewer2199321 on Feb 02, 2008

Good for making cranberry juice, for intensifying the cranberry taste of cranberry sauce that is too sweet and for adding a small amount to smoothies.

Adds Flavor And Natural Sweetness to Smoothies

Posted by Reviewer2199321 on Feb 24, 2008

This concentrate is a good option for use in expanding the flavor of fruit concoctions. I even add a small amount to my cranberry sauce. I find it easier to use and more cost effective than the frozen whole fruit. I don't drink soda, but I think this concentrate would be good in cola.

A Nutty Option

Posted by Reviewer2199321 on Feb 24, 2008

I like these nutritious nuts straight from the bag. They are satisfying. They are also a good addition to cereals and salads. The omega-3 fatty acid profile of this nut is impressive.

My Hair Likes This Shampoo

Posted by Reviewer2199321 on Jul 28, 2009

I first used Jason Natural when I bought it on sale at iherb. I was looking for a shampoo that did not strip my hair's natural oils and that left my hair clean and manageable. My long, thick and fine graying hair can be wild. Jason's sodium lauryl/Laureth sulfate-free formula left my hair squeaky clean, soft, glowing and manageable. After shampooing the only other products I use are Jason Conditioner and a clear smoothing gel. I can wait a day or 2 longer between shampoos. Thanks Jason and iherb.

For My Bones

Posted by Reviewer2199321 on Oct 14, 2011

As insurance I take this supplement for my aging bones. I try to get most of my calcium from my diet. I have no side effects. The combination of calcium with magnesium helps prevent constipation due to the calcium. The calcium citrate is better absorbed vs. the carbonate so I can take a lower dose. The price of this supplement is competitive.

A Versatile Skin Softener

Posted by Reviewer2199321 on Jul 28, 2009

This is the first oil I have used as a body and facial skin softener that I could pour over my salad. I like the purity of this biological oil that is expeller pressed and hexane free. It leaves my skin soft and does not cause breakouts or irritation. It is also odorless. I sometimes pour it onto a damp cloth and sponge my arms and legs when they need refreshing.
