A Cost-Effective Alternative

Posted on Jul 28, 2009

I prefer fish oil to capsules because I can see and taste the actual oil. The careful distillation process of the fish oil is important to me. I like the pleasant taste. I had been using another product that was $10 more per 16 oz. bottle. Cost aside, I prefer Nature's Answer. But I am certainly glad it is less expensive.

A Natural Alternative to Ascorbic Acid

Posted on Aug 22, 2011

I am glad to have a tablet form of vitamin C that seems more sensible than plain ascorbic acid. I am sure that I do not get enough vitamin C from my diet consistently.

A Mild Sardine With the Zing of Mustard

Posted on Aug 22, 2011

I enjoy the mild sardine flavor of the smoked brisling. These canned sardines are a convenience food when on the run. They are a satisfying source of protein, calcium and omega-3 fatty acids. My bones can certainly use that.

Yes! A Great Domestic Olive Oil

Posted on Aug 09, 2011

This olive oil is milder and more fruity than the Italian oils I have used. I tried drinking a tablespoonful and it did not burn my throat. I am pleased to have this choice. The price is competetive. The desirability and health benefits of this olive oil are worth the cost.

Good Snack Food

Posted on Aug 09, 2011

These berries are not as tasty as the dried ones I have been buying at iherb. They are softer, so they are easier to chew. They are a low-calorie, nutritious snack.

For My Smoothies

Posted on Aug 09, 2011

Acai berry powder enriches my smoothies with the dark pigment of the berries. The powder is another means of expanding my diet to increase variety.

Nutritious, Interesting Snack Food

Posted on Mar 09, 2010

I like these seeds plain. Dipping a banana into the seeds is good. A salad with hempseed sprinkles has a mild nutty taste. Their omega-6/3 fatty acid profile is an ideal 2:1. Three tablespoons provide an impressive 11 grams of protein. I haven't toasted them. I would not want to overheat them and destroy the beneficial fatty acids.

Really Spicy

Posted on Jan 27, 2011

These are tender and tasty. The spices may be too strong if you like mild flavor. The spicy is a plus for me. Pumpkin seeds are a nutritious snack full of magnesium.

I Am Hooked

Posted on Jan 27, 2011

This is a good coffee for me, one who is not a coffee lover but enjoys a morning cup that is smooth and strong without bitterness. The mushroom extract content is a definite plus.

Good Snack, Not As Tasty As Other Brand

Posted on Jan 27, 2011

Hemp seeds are a nutritious snack or dietary addition that provide a balanced omega-3 fat source. The Manitoba seeds have a bitter taste that is not present in another brand that iherb sells.

My Favorite Sunscreen

Posted on Feb 09, 2010

This is the first sunscreen I have been able to apply around my eyes without irritation. I apply it after moisturizing with squalane oil. It is not greasy and behaves under makeup. I like the nontoxic (for me and the environment)ingredients. The zinc oxide and titanium dioxide are reported to be the safest sunscreens for us to use.
