Hexane-free is good

Posted on Sep 10, 2008

11 people found the following review helpful

Hexane is neurotoxic. Even trace amounts can cause swelling of the nerve and thinning of the myelin sheath. Choosing a hexane-free product is a step in better direction. Would give it 5 stars if the bottle were glass and not plastic.

Provides eczema relief -- avoids toxic ingredients

Posted on Jul 19, 2008

3 people found the following review helpful

I spoke with Christopher's about the source and handling for each of the three ingredients. Short of mixing your own at home, this is the least toxic ointment you'll find. It has provided relief and promoted healing for persistent, chemically-sensitive eczema.

A least-toxic solution for kids

Posted on Jul 19, 2008

For kids who don't tolerate brushing without an aide, this formula is the most non-toxic we've found so far. Use it with a natural bristle toothbrush in order to avoid phthalates and BPA.

Krill oil facilitates neuron repair and growth. NKO is a preferred source because heavy metals and other toxins have been distilled out.

Good value -- fewer toxins

Posted on Jul 19, 2008

Fluoride is a neurotoxin. This toothpaste is fluoride-free and also uses ingredients that will not be irritating to many people. Very chemically sensitive people may want to consider an even milder formula such as Weleda Children's Tooth Gel.

Posted on Sep 10, 2008

Exposure to heavy metals and other endocrine-disrupting chemicals can cause elevated testosterone leading to other metabolic problems. DIM can help testosterone levels return to normal.
