Worked for muscle recovery & ulcer problem
A teaspoon of this with whey powder and Now's Carbo Gain(non sweet long chain polysacharrides) improved recovery speed after strength training. Gave a jar to a friend who had an ulcer that wouldn't go away(proton blockers+diet didn't work for months) tried this and the situation reversed in a few days. Worth a try.
For anti-inflammation purposes
I'm doing this because of the anti-inflammatory effects reported for curcuminoides. Nearly 40 and a few nasty sports injuries to worry about, but still going at it. This is reported also to perhaps be a guard against brain cell senescence..i.e. in the development of Alzheimer's but that's a ways down the road for me.
I'm going by the ingredient list on the label more than by a specific result I experienced. This seems to give a good mix of the things I don't get regularly from a busy bachelor's diet.
Trying this for the 1st time
This together with Acetyl-L Carnitine. Hopefully my overwracked entrepreneur brain won't burn out quite as fast with this help.
Instead of loads of red wine...
I like wine a bit too much to rely on it for the daily resveratrol. Can't hold consumption to just one glass, so, there's this. Seems to be the best deal here for content, last time I did the math.
